MYTH: Sacraments users especially Celestines are unbeatable 1 on 1
Possbile addition to it: Cannot be beaten one on one by any non Celestian.

Please test and give us some logs of serious combat spars?

If you will consider their deadly combination, Anorexia, Vapors and Paralyzed followed by Aeon while suffering from blackout, it is indeed truly diffucult to beat them unless you manage to order their angel to go against them.

Not to mention Heretic, Infidel and Acquisition while under Aeon and Paralyzed, deadly combo...

And oh, not to mention Absolve, while blackout they'll be draining your mana down like crazy and poof abolve immediately, unlike Nihilists where we have to bound them first before we can perform the instant kill.

Though yeah we need a log to really prove it though.

Laugh all you want, we'll get you back one day, just not now, not this month, and when we do we'll see who's the real griefer

"Discussion" about guild A:

non-A guild people: A is overpowered!
A guild people: No, A is underpowered!

The guild isn't over/underpowered. If someone owns you, it's either because they're good or you're not so good.

Its mythbusters, bust me.. serious spar.. set up and run it.. need some logs to prove it and dont forget part 2.. against a non celest guild.

Look in the damn combat log section and find logs of Thoros or Amaru losing.

If Celestines can't lose, I sure have been playing them wrong.

Celestines are without a doubt one of the more powerful classes on Lusternia. The Nihilists who are their counterparts im Magnagora pale in comparison.

However, I don't think they are overpowered, I simply feel that the Nihilists need a thorough review and modification as their abilities to kill are far harder to pull off. And truly, Necromancy is no match for Sacraments. But that's my opinion... might be wrong.

I'm in the camp that thinks certain Celestine skills ARE overpowered, but I'm not a Celestian, so this is no surprise. I personally think the combination of vapours, lovers tarot, and empress tarot is absurd in group combat (but the game isn't balanced for group combat) and raid defence (but the game isn't balanced for raid defence). I also think that sacrifice and ressurect are far better than their equivilents in other guilds. I think that Celestines have far more viable ways of killing someone than any other class.

However, that said, I do not think the class is THAT overpowered. Just a few of their skills. In a one on one fight, I could kill many Celestines, though not Amaru or other top tier fighters. In my last one on one skirmish with Shamarah, I was handling everything he was dishing out just fine until he had to leave because he ran out of a few potions and herbs (just before I ran out of quicksilver, thankfully, which gave me the opportunity to mock him IC for "running away" instead of him having the chance to to me ).


That said, Nihilists against non-huge races are underpowered, in my opinion, which makes Celestines seem even stronger than they are.
