Alright, after Thorgal and Murphy left, so did the support for the murgal system. Now, with permission from Murphy, Diamante and I are redistriubting it.

One thing to consider is that there is an entire new archetype, with five different skillsets, and possibly two more illusions specializations coming the near future, that will require all of the murgal system users to update accordingly.

Aside from the numerous bug fixes and queing improvements Ciaran has done, I don't think it wrong of him to take over the system that has allowed about 80% of lusternia's decent combatants to participate, considering neither of them will be doing updates in the future--aside from that, murph still gains 20 credits per sale, should he ever decide to combat he may have a nice stockpile waiting for him!

every few months a new player comes along, and demands full pay for a system when in the original purchase it was agreed and -promised- that support -will always- be given and that updates will be free.

I appriciate your work, but re-paying now, and probably end up re-paying later... it's not worth it. I am quite tired of these promises which are -never- kept.

I agree. I payed the credits for the system already and now the support that was promised is gone and I'm expected to pay again? No.

You don't have to pay again, those who own it continue to get updates (for free).

I hope you fixed the famous parrying system. It does not work that well against Pureblades, from what I can gather when I fight someone with that system.

yes yes, it's on the list of things to do (didn't put it up there because it's a lil ways off after redoing a buncha triggers), but it still works, it's just not as effective as the others.

That was the best parrying system ever. I beheaded Diamante so many times with that.

Advent Garde system is only 25 credits and it is supported on a daily basis.

It just doesn't seem very ethical, even if you have permission from the creators, to sell a system that you didn't code.

But they did code it... well, a lot of it, updating bits that weren't working right, updating it for all the new changes like the complete reworking of writhe cures, and they are still coding more to deal with new things like bards...

Really.. Do you read the topic? I've been over all the code, bug fixing, I completely redid the writhing, as well as adding numerous features. currently we're doing a de'lagging revamp. You need to be ethical and not try to cut down on your competition with an unbased accusation and shameless plug.

They're not reselling. They are selling a new system, sort of. Soon it will be greatly redesigned for less lag- for right now, a ton of the old bugs have been fixed, illusions proofed, and other problems changed to make the system work better.

It does not seem very ethical that you would come to this thread and post about another system, make your own thread troll....
