I typically have at least one good disaster, or near-disaster on Friday the 13th. Last time, I was nearly in a pile-up on the interstate when a guy's trailer un-latched itself from his truck and went careening around all 4 lanes. Only the fact that I'd noticed it wobbling before it broke free meant that I was able to dodge it, cause I was watching it so closely.

So far today, I've been disaster-free, but it's only 8:21am!

Friday the 13th can find its roots based in Masonic lore.

Jacques DeMolay, the 23rd and "officially" last Grand Master of the Knights Templar, was aressted, their coffers confiscated and I think it was something like 400-600 Templars were arrested and burned at the stake on Friday the 13th of October 1307. DeMolay and the Templars had alot of money stocked away and did not have to pay taxes due to them being a "religious order". Phillipe the Fair's (ha greedy prick) coffers had practically run dry and he was trying to get his hand on the Templar gold piled up. He with the help of Pope Clement V claimed they were heretics and ordered to be tried by the Inquisition.

DeMolay was tortured, and later burned at the stake also. This also give theory to whose deathmask is on the shroud of Turin. Since it is dated to around that time and was found in the possesion of an old Templar family. (But that's another tale)

In the history books you may or may not here the exact reasonings why he was arrested but here, in Lusty forums old Ildaudid will let ya know...

But ever since then the Templars went into hiding, later becoming/merging with the Freemasons and that susperstition has become what it is now.

Tell me about it. All morning at work I've been running to and from the bathroom, afraid I'm about to puke. Can't manage to eat anything, feel nauseous as all hell, vision's wobbly, and I feel so weak a light breeze could push me over.

Ooh... that IS bad luck. I hate cleaning my room. Every room in my apartment will be clean (if not perfectly neat) but my room is always a disaster. Not a disgusting or anything, but messy as all hell. Well, right now, my apartment is pretty funny being that it's mostly empty, but still.

I never go in there unless I need to sleep, so I see nothing wrong with keeping it a wreck, but the parents don't see things the same way

I'm suffering a migraine but that's about it.

Nah, it's nice and warm where I am. It's 80 degrees outside right now.

Its snowing. Snowing. And its not nice soft fluffy snowflakes. Its wet, cold, freezing rain snowflakes. And its cold. Otherwise, my day has been awesome, because my friend is helping me learn how to code systems. I love Khaul sometimes.

I'm suffering from overscheduling and a screwy sleep schedule, but that's about it. 'sall good.

... My sister won a vacation.

No longer forced to clean my room, being on my own, but I did anyway, and that never happens. More of a good thing for me, since the room is usable once again (it hasn't been since I moved in three months ago).

Also got paid today, might buy 100 credits to get some things customized, but I don't yet know how much bills are going to be this month, due to the new car and insurance going up $100 a month.

Sister just called and said "Your brother is coming to get you for the weekend. Get your stuff ready. Bye."
