Aside from the fact that Lusternia has waaaay too many afflictions, this is my herb queu finally finished and I would like input from others who may see a flaw in it. I went from locking afflictions to hinderance/multi-effect afflictions to rebounding and then bleeding afflictions. At least something roughly resembling that. Here it is:

CODE

Slickness
Impatient
Anorexia
Stupidity
Alertness
Blind
Deaf
Sixth Sense
Confused
Reckless
Omniphobia
Hypochondria
Narcolepsy
Hypersomnia
Paranoid
SeveredLeftEar
SeveredRightEar
Rebounding
Clumsy
Hallucinations
Rigormortis
Manabarbs (Bardic)
Powerbarbs (Bardic)
Lonely
HealthLeech
Masochist
Epilepsy
Peace
Pacified
Justice
Lover's Curse
PuncturedChest
BrokenChest
Lethargy
SeveredLeftNerve (Hemiplegy)
SeveredRightNerve (Hemiplegy)
Relapse
Haemophilia
Powersink
PuncturedAura
MagicIncrease (Bardic)
BrokenNose
LeftArmArtery
RightArmArtery
LeftLegArtery
RightLegArtery
SlicedGut
PiercedLeftLegNerve
PiercedRightLegNerve
PiercedRightArmNerve
PiercedLeftArmNerve
SlicedRightBicep
SlicedLeftBicep
Sliced Chest
Deadening
Weakness
Generosity
Gluttony
Addiction
Daydreaming
Vertigo
Vestiphobia
Shy
Agoraphobia
Claustrophobia
Dementia
ChervilClotting

And I did, get all the messages, for all of these. Including Hypersomnia happy.gif

The rebounding aura doesn't use herb balance, so it can be handled separately from the herb queue.

Chervil should probably be moved up that list, as dementia and other afflictions won't generally get you killed but bleeding damage just might.

Powerbarbs is really Powerspike, but that's just nitpicking. smile.gif

I think you missed EgoVice, too.

Awsome, thanks!

Why is daydreaming so much lower than epilepsy?
Hiriako2006-10-27 14:13:14
Don't forget sap, ectoplasm, aeon and crotamine.
Unknown2006-10-27 14:19:20
Sap/Ectoplasm/Stench are all going under my Cleanse Queu

Antidote doesn't even really need a queu, just running a scanner for it.

Aeon is going into Purgative Queu, beacuse it's better to sip out of a vial during aeon
rather than try to outrift a herb and eat it.
Hiriako2006-10-27 14:44:32
Yes, true for all of that. But remember that it has to be tied into your herbal system too, that you do -not- want your herbal system running while under sap/ectoplasm/aeon.

That's why it's a queu, I code it all into an Alias for the complex system triggering, with the initial messages tieing into the queu. Once sap or aeon is cured, fire the herb queu? It's simple and how coding gods work things. smile.gif

You could be tricky and just keep one piece of reishi out, in case you don't have purgative balance when you get aeoned. But that's a hassle for little benefit.

Indeed. On Imperian they had limb paralysis, four limbs could be paralysed. If your arms so happened to be paralysed you couldn't outrift so you'd have to outrift a paralysis cure herb as soon as you logged on etc..

I have focus mind, focus spirit, and all that fun jazz. Throw allheale ontop of it and a passive affliction remover and I think i'll be quite alright. biggrin.gif

You can't eat calamus if your anorexic, so anorexia definately needs to be higher than slickness.

Aeon is best cured by a purg and not an herb, darn right. laugh.gif

List is half decent, though you should realize that legpiercings make you hobble. I don't see relapsing on there either (charybdon, heretic, anerod, stingtail afflictions) Artery afflictions should be quite a bit lower than all piercings

In the end there's no absolute "best" priority, as most combat situations vary widely.

I don't see succumb on the list either. It's a delayed reishi cure, as is punctured aura. Succum needs to be very high on your priority, right behing anorexia and perhaps stupidity.

I don't see slicedforehead either on the list, yarrow cure.
Xavius2006-10-28 08:42:59
Anorexia isn't an herb cure for obvious reasons.
Ixion2006-10-28 08:46:17
*cough*

Smoke balance is the same as herb balance, with certain caveots. Smoke coltsfoot cures anorexia.

That said, if your mana is high, I'd suggest you put that on your focus balance, with checks for other spammed mental afflictions to ensure anorexia gets cured as fast as possible.
Gwylifar2006-10-28 13:26:38
Wouldn't it be better to have it in both? (Assuming you have a mechanism, which I'd think you'd have to have anyway, to mark an affliction as "curing" so once one cure is getting it another one won't bother.)

I'm still wondering why epilepsy is so much higher than daydreaming. Is there something I'm missing that makes daydreaming less hindering?

Daydreaming doesn't slow writhing, for one. Epilepsy does.
