Has there been an addition to the rockeater training tunnels maps? Because I assumed I had them all rather a long time ago (last spring) and I've tried twice since I came back, and they weren't the same.

So... have more been added or have they been replaced with something else?

Either way, more work for me.

I mapped out seven types a while ago.

If there are more types, all the better. I love figuring out a new configuration of that puzzle.

Magicmouth was the best thing ever for that quest Started at the end, and made magic mouths everywhere telling me what direction to go in. Was annoying to clean up afterwards though.

I just use good ol' pencil and paper. And it seems I'll need to use them again to get the new tunnels.

or your client's mapper, but I agree with Tzekelkan, pen and paper is a good way to go.

Is there a constant size for the grid to aways be?

Yes, you can check the size by looking at Caffrey's map. He has one map listed, but it doesnt list the positions needed.

Well, it seems that some other variations of the tunnels were added... I had seven a while ago, found two "new" ones these last few days, but also did an "older" one. So... there you go.

There used to be only 7 maze maps.

I remember eight. Two look the same though..the rockeater and slab are just mixed up.

This should be in the myths section. I still do the rockeater quest regularly for gold and I haven't see anything besides the orginal seven.

No, it cant be proved without providing the maps which would give away the entire quest.

I dunno, I had one yesterday that didn't look familiar to me. I spent too long trying to set up my zmud mapper though and by the time I was ready the map was one I recognized again.

I believe each time the quest resets the next map is randomly selected(it doesn't just cycle (1-2-3-ect), and randomness is, well, random, for a month or two IRL all I did was weevil and do that quest. I swore there were only 5, even though siv told me there were seven, and then one day the other two popped up. Just because you haven’t seen extra maps doesn't mean they aren't there.

And no, there will be no posting of the maps. I spent my time with pen and paper figuring it out, it was fun, others should to, whether for enjoyment or frustration, mind exercises (puzzles) are a good thing for all.

I think I got the quest bug twice...did they get rid of it?

There was only 7 mazes like a year back or so. It was last time i did that qust but before that time i completed it many many times. It was easy way to earn gold. I have all those maps on paper.
So i have noe idea if there are any new mazes, but im 100% sure it was only 7 when i was doing that quest.
