Happy:

-Having both an alchemist and herbalist as IC parents. Can you say 50% extra sparkleberries?

-Multiple gifts from multiple Serens, all to help me learn to fight. Credits, money, herbs, tints, whatever.

-Shorlen giving me a demesne alias thing so I could actually time my demesne!

-Yini for having the patience to answer my endless questions about learning how to fight.

-People who paintstakingly proofread any scrolls, books, et cetera I write.

-Becoming a Protector in the Hartstone.

-My avatar.

This thread is so going to end up being artificially pinned because it can't stay up on its own.

And yes, nothing to report here. Haven't been playing, hence no disappointments nor pleasant surprises.

I think that's something really special, and slightly rare, you don't find many people out there that will put up with questions about fighting, they'll just spar you, win, and dismiss you.

I'm not usually on when Yini is, it always seems like she's getting on when I'm getting off, or vice versa, but I've got to agree on the:

I went to a real rave once. It was a fun and.... interesting experience.

I'm so excited I managed to convince a friend of mine to try the game out! Yay for being a Lusternia pusher! (it's better than crack!)

I'm glad I finally have more time to play.

Also, I'm pretty excited that people are actually buying things from my shop.

If you have nothing good to say, why did you post? Do you really need the attention that badly that you will post on something like this just to say that you haven't been playing?

I love my guild. I have always loved my guild. No matter what else sucks in Lusternia, I can spend time with my guildmates and block out everything else because they are the most amazing people group of people ever, and more than that, they are -consistently- amazing, so it's doubly delicious.

Don't play Lusternia anymore, but enjoyed it more than not when I did. The fun and excitement of novelty when new announces or events were... announced. The victory rush of a succesful (doesn't mean I had to win) combat.

Lusternia doesn't suck at all. It's the best MUD out there, at least I didn't find anything better yet (and I doubt I ever will). It's just the forums that make everything look so negative. Most people who play Lusternia are happily oblivious of the forums' existance and good for them.

I love that my Boss decided to go home (I get so much more done when he's not around! )

Here's something general (cause I'm not playing right now and thus have no specific instance to rave about) about the game that makes me happy: verbose room descriptions

I keep the verbose descriptions on and sometimes when I'm walking around, I'll notice something written that'll make me stop and read more carefully and I'll look over the rooms around it again and smile cause there's some REALLY creative folks writing these things! Seriously! I'm always impressed by the tiny little tidbits.

Here's something else:

I love the people I play with. Noola's friends and family. My alt's. The game is so much fun cause of the people in it! I mean it's fun anyway, but the people totally make it even more fun.

And I love little kids! (one of my coworkers brought his six year old to work and she's the cutest thing evah!)

That hurts me.


Ahem..

I made a B on a very hard English Lit test. I made a C+ on a hard Biology test that I thought I failed.. and I was one point away from a B.. which makes me a bit angry, but it's still good either way!

Since I'm not playing Lusternia I have more time to study which gets my parents to leave me alone and/or give me money. Yay, money!

I've now learned how to not let my club stuff bother me. I was.. very calm during the last event and I'm usually shaking. I did get very nervous beforehand though.. Oh and I have a nifty new pledge pin. It's a plaid cloth rose. And I don't have to carry my candy bag with me anymore!

Verithrax underestimates my level of happy.

It's funny, I always found if I thought I failed a test, I usually did pretty good on it and if I thought I did good I tanked it.
