Seriously, since we have music in Lusternia, as well as Bards, would some people like to create a band? Think about it. A death/black metal band for Magnagoria :headbang: , Gothic for Glomdoring, Serenwilde.... a picalo? Celestines --->
At the very least, would someone be interested in creating a blackmetal band with me?

Can I get to be the lead singer?
Verithrax2007-01-03 11:20:36
We've been through that. Next thread!

I think classical music for Celest is giving them far too much credit. I'm thinking more like...children's sing-along songs. Barney anyone?

Celest should have swing bands, and urban ghetto hip-hop. Put on your zoot suit and let's lizindy.

That's cold.
Unknown2007-01-03 16:59:31
Glom's band would be detrimental to the commune. They would only write sad songs about how life sucks and no one likes them. The emoness would be too much, the straw that broke the camels back, and slit wrists would be everywhere. There wouldn't be a Glomdoring left!
But bands would be cool, I think. Couple people, different instruments, on stage singing etc etc.
World Tour! He we come!

Hmmm, I was thinking something more like this maybe. The inquisition

Wow, a joke about Glomdoring being "emo"--how original.

Evidently, they missed the thread that happened when Glom first opened. *zaps for unoriginality*

Glomdoring being emo is kind of an odd misperception of the cities and Serenwilde that continuously grates on the nerves. The only wrist slashing I've personally ever seen is a Celestian transfer performing a ritual of her own creation who promptly scurried back to Celest after giving her word before joining us that her interest in serving Glomdoring was sincere.
Personally I can't imagine anything more emo than grovelling at the feet of infernal or supernal entities to get that ole time religion. Well, except for serving the once dead White Hart, but that goes without saying.
That being said, there might as well be bands of bards. Have to find something for them to do.

Have to take that up with the Blacktalon, which is a part of Glomdoring, not the entirety of the commune.
Kharaen2007-01-03 17:32:56
Raven died twice (once very recently), and became the tainted Crow (the serpent event proved that Glomdoring was tainted, and not free of the taint )
So, what can be more emo then denying the state of your Commune since its inception, and following a twice dead corrupt Spirit Entity?

Fair enough.

Having your commune's spirit die and begging your enemy to come running with some band-aids?
