The jagged lines are a result of SketchUp's rendering, which isn't so great. The image has already been retouched, both with blur filters and by hand, to get rid of some of it, at the cost of some crispness. But I agree it stands out like a sore thumb.

Hrm. I never designed the Merchant's Guild building in my head. I think in a lot of areas, and even in a lot of MUDs, the general theme of the building is set out, but they never get into specific, detailed archetecture. So, it's a decent building, maybe someday I'll figure out the archetecture type of the city.
