...a fawn like viscanti who's a servant to a family house hold, kind of like what Tully did except to one perticular Great House family.
So, I've had this idea for the longest time, and I really want to play something to this like. My problem, of course, is I'm not exactly sure how to Rp it out. So I'd appreciate it if some advice would be given and also your thoughts on the idea.
--Oh and by fawn like, I mean kind of like Mr. Tumnus from the Chronciles of Narnia.
Gandal2006-11-09 04:13:44
Hang around the Necromentate a lot? I don't know. How does the Great House system work?
Veonira2006-11-09 04:15:24
Well, there are two options. If you wish to interact with actual families, you should contact a Great House either OOCly or ICly and let them know what you want to do. The only difference is that OOCly you'd be asking if you could pretend to be a servant, and ICly you would perhaps be a wandering servant in need of work.
Or, if you want to just be a servant to a Great House in say, Magnagora, you could simply pretend to serve one of the families not taken, try interacting with the NPC's, and just act like you're their servant.
Although I think the first would be more fun. I'm sure the d'Murani's would have some interest in a servant

Or, maybe, serve a future Great House, like the Kalas...
We could use a nanny/housekeeper!

Forget about the Great Houses. Try the Carthans. There's more of us, and we have more money.
Aiakon2006-11-09 10:00:05
Pah. The Carthans wouldn't have anything for you to do - besides, they're not true aristocracy.
Aiakon has just discovered that his private secretary (Morvior) is also his son... so, he will be needing a new servant to do his dirty work. Aiakon even pays, occasionally.. Go become a d'Murani servant. We'll even make you a livery.

We own a city. How much more aristocratic can you get?
Aiakon2006-11-09 14:00:09
Any half-arsed proleterian can build himself a giant aetherspace trailor park. However, the d'Murani family dates back to before Project Cosmic Hope.

Thank you all for replying. We'll see what comes out of it. If you want to give some more advice, go ahead.

Meh, my character would like to be a servnt, only problem, to shy to say anything.

So just start doing stuff around the house and see if anyone notices
That'd be a fun way to start it all off, I think. Sorta like OCD cleaning behaviour or something like that.
Unknown2006-11-26 18:16:45
meh, if only one could go up to poor Leki and say it. >.>
Reiha2006-11-26 18:59:53
Does this Leki cook, clean, and can entertain the kids while the parents are away? I was going to take Sarvasti's alt, but I forgot the name and I think somebody snatched her up. And nope, I'm not quite back yet, but Reiha would be happy to know her kids are being looked after while she's in a coma
Unknown2006-11-26 19:13:31
I think so, but cook... I'm not sure. (meh, not native english speaker.)
Bhiele2006-11-29 15:59:23
I think it'd be fun to RP being one of those man-servant type sidekicks of heroes. Like a Friday, or a Jacopo (Robinson Crusoe and Count of Monte Cristo) or a Little John type to some Robin Hood.
...and then betray them, slay them and take all of their glory that should have rightfully been mine. Buahaha.

Daganev had a side kick who did that to him. Forgotten his name.

Someone get hired by her and save Felandi from babysitting duty!

@ Reiha - No, my alt got killed off cuz I forgot the name >.<
I am however thinking of making a character, but I need to sit down and hopefully define somethings so I've got an idea on how to play and that sort.
