Arena combat is boring and I can never find people to spar. So I was wondering if anyone has a complete or near complete list of areas in which everyone is open to be attacked.
I only know of the Ethereal plane and nobody is ever there.

Any non-prime plane pretty much, though beware any consequences for jumping someone.

what about the aetherplex and aetherhubs or whatever they are called?

As Ixion said.. you're best off fighting in things like Nodes and village rebellions. If you start jumping people on spec, you'll just enter a cycle of pain. Unless you're extremely good, like Amaru... and then you'll survive but no one will like you
what about the aetherplex and aetherhubs or whatever they are called?
That would be another way to make yourself deeply unpopular. Jumping people in their homes is frowned upon. Up to you, of course.

Lusternia has no PK restrictions (Well, we have the toothless Avenger) so you can say that it's all open pk, all the time, as long as you don't try to kill anyone more than twice a month on Prime.
On the other hand, jumping people randomly basically signals that you're a dink with no concept of roleplay, and will make you profoundly hated by the sane part of the game's community.
I'd say that it would get you hunted ICly, but due to the aforementioned lack of PK restrictions, everyone is always being hunted anyway, so it doesn't really matter.

I'm really planning my characters roleplay and I already know senseless pk does not equal good roleplay.
Nor will my character ask 'friends' to help him because I detest group combat, only one on one fair combat.
The roleplay planned for my character and he isn't going to be 'good' or 'tainted', he is just a combatant. He is indifferent about the fight between taint and untainted and only really cares about himself and the Ebonguard. He naturally doesn't like Serenwilde. I'm not sure what sort of combatant I want him to be, maybe a honorable Knight or even a headhunter.

One of the great things about this game is that you can kill almost anyone (except noobs) anywhere, anytime, anyplace. This doesn't mean you should, heh. It's great that your starting to define your character and his goals. I would suggest thinking about his personal history, his habits, and his hopes/fears. The sort of free-reign the game gives you should be considered with responsibility! This is a role-playing game, not a mindless mmo or fps. Think about consequences, your character's motivations, and what you as the player really want the most out of the game!
Btw...wtf is your avatar? I cant figure it out

My avatar is the main character if Gears of War using his awsome fully automatic rifle with a chainsaw on it to cut a locust in half.
I love the chainsaw gun so much i'd join the U.S. military if they ever got fully automatic guns with chainaws on them.

so far off topic but oh wells...
it's a little difficult, very violent, tailored for cooperative gameplay and has some parts that may make you a little paranoid and afraid of the dark(after a few hours of ingame running from light to light to stay alive I found myself unknowingly doing the same in real life. ).
It's not the run and gun game you would first expect it to be, it's tatic-oriented and the story is more in the actual gameplay then cut scenes. Graphics are nice the the Locust are creepy enough.
But then again it's always satisfying to blow a locust apart from a blindfiring a shootgun, jumping over the toppled pillar you were behind and quickly switching to the chainsaw gun and cutting a locust in half then quickly jumping over another locust and shoving a grenade in it's chest before doing a sideroll to safty.

Yeah, I just beat Gears of War two days ago.
But as for PK areas, as they've stated, you can kill anyone, anywhere. Just be prepared for the consequences though, as players have very real interactions and relationships with one another, and if you run around killing people like any MMO that lets you kill anyone, the playerbase is going to shun you real quick, especially since the percentage of non combatants, or poor combatants is higher here than say, WoW, where everyone is essentially a combatant. I'm level 80, and haven't been killed in maybe 20 years or so, since there's been no reason for anyone to kill me.
