Not really sure who I should be asking about this, so...when an issue is resolved, are you supposed to receive a message, even if what was done isn't mentioned?

If not, does it just vanish off ISSUES when it's done? I don't really get how this is meant to work. HELP ISSUES doesn't seem to mention what happens when it's resolved, only that it will be. (I trust that it will be, although it's been a while, but I'm not concerned about how long it takes, more how I'll know when it is.)

I think they try to message you but sometimes forget.
Anarias2006-11-13 07:51:35
Yeah there's no automatic message, they should do that when they take care of it and remove it from the list. Sometimes they don't.

And for rules clarifications, announce posts would be very, very, very nice. If it takes too much time to do them each time, collect a bunch, post it when you have enough.

Personally I'd prefer a big comprehensive help file. It's irritating to have to file through all the announce posts to find the one I want. Maybe both...

Edit: But yeah - reading through the Shiri/Geb+Narsrim fun on Idiots, I'm struck by how many times Narsrim has issued himself to find the correct admin view on various borderline grey areas. Many of the things he has discovered are of extreme relevance and importance. It would be -very- useful if that sort of decision was recorded after it was made so that others can view it and see where the law lies.

That was a bit random.

Thanks for the responses. I'll hope it's been dealt with and the admin just forgot to let me know then.

EDIT: Although it could be anything else, but I can't really affect it and there's no point bothering them about it.

They've always disappeared off my current issues when dealt with, if they are still on there then they are still currant, and shouldn't be talked about because they're still being investigated or what-not. As for messages, I honestly can't remember if I got an automated message or not, it's been far to long since I've had to issue.
Bhiele2006-11-13 16:12:47
They can also disappear without word if they aren't issue worthy.

Issues, as a general rule, will receive a message regarding it when it is resolved.

This may not happen if a mistake occurs. If you're curious about an issue that got dismissed, msg the Oneiroi and ask them for information regarding it.

Remember, to err is human..and we're only Gods when we zap. wink.gif

Wait, you're saying that all the Gods are human? The humans splintered into all the rest! This is bad! tongue.gif
