I've noticed quite a few shrubbings recently. Has it increased, or is it generally like this?

I only know of two recently. Have there been more than that?

Its done whenever someone has done something the Admin dont allow; exploits, plagerism, etc.

Its mostly quiet, except for the rare occasion where its a warning to others, but if you know them it just may seem a bit more.

Yeah, I've noticed quite a few surprising ones. I'm curious to know what the reasons were.

Elorin???

Elorin asked me last night to be admitted in the Aquamancers.... I was in the middle of teaching one novice and talking to another about his lessons and so asked Elorin if he'd wait a bit and I'd speak to him then. He said ok, but then when I was done and ready to speak to him, he'd gone.

Wow...

Why do I have a feeling Elorin is another alt of that person that causes many problems. Can't remember the name at the moment, but it started with an A.

The fact that it was a changeling (yes, I used "it") kinda makes me wonder...

That was my first thought. Eh, oh well. Beware the novices that seem to know every aspect of the game already and are actingly like experience characters

Well, that's not always an indicator of someone out to cause trouble. I've 'taught' several 'novices' who were obviously alts and they never caused a bit of trouble.

I'm still amazed. I mean... I was gonna leave a note in the guildlogs that Elorin had asked about joining the guild and if he was around again and I wasn't could someone speak with him.... I just forgot to do it last night.

Four advancements and two aide positions all within three hours of joining? That's scary. No normal person is THAT good.

Well, seems from the guildlogs and some messages I'd gotten that Elorin DID make his way into the Aquamancers after he spoke with me and was similarly advanced for being 'brilliant.'

Crazy!

Whoever this person is, they're apparently quite good at pulling wool over folks' eyes.

Or exploiting bugs. Alodia and Soll aren't stupid. Soll's scripts can be, but the guy himself isn't.

I think that's the same person who was offering me 200 credits earlier today if I got him into Blacktalon as a non-novice and with a guildfavour...

It started with "A" and ended with "nnabelle."

Well wasn't there a Cantor recently who was rumored to have had that name before? (The one with A that is). Was an undersec like 1-2 rl days after creation, a secretary and head of novices before one ig year was over (Again after creation)...

I'm surprised that people still fall for that. If a novice comes to me and tells me I should advance them or anything because they know it all already, I get -really- pissed, especially if they tell me that by being balantly ooc.

And.. from the log Rauros posted.. Elorin did the first two tests within three minutes.. or what? I'd really love to know what that was about. Alodia? Soll?

I asked Soll, and he said that it "Is not important". It's still odd, though.

The only way I could see this sort of thing happening so quickly is because the alt sends tells to the leaders and says, "Hey, you know me as ____, so how about letting me in now?" and they feel like they can trust the person for whatever reasons.

There was just a recent announcement regarding shrubbings for abusing a quest, though.

Looking at the log Rauros posted it looks like you weren't the only one who was offered that. I don't know Alodia, and Soll is many things but I never considered naive and stupid one of them...

Then again, it's a game and whichever character you play is up to you. I wonder if Elorin rp'd it though. The one encounter I had with A. was a very very ooc one, and I sure as hell didn't initiate that.
