I wasn't sure where to place this topic, so I hope it works ok here -

Does anyone have any clue about the history of the Magnagoran Zoo, or of Rheimos? I wanted to know which Great Houses, if any, had influence in its founding, and where the animals came from (are they mutated by the Taint? Some form of genetic experiment?)...I looked in the Magnagoran library for any mention of it, but couldn't find it. If the topic hasn't been explored, I'd like to write a book on it, but I wouldn't want to put anything blatanly wrong. Please let me know if you have any information on it!

I don't think it's worked for a while. Can't remember if it was before or after the Grutina business that we stopped though.

You can find some information about the Zoo if you look up information about the Necromoni-something-or-other (I forgot the name!). Suffice to say, the Taint is not whats mutating the animals.

Nintoba's spear can't be raised because Grutina is gone. It worked up until then.

I'd imagine Snaikka and her kin has -something- to do with them beasties being there where they may be easily accessed by mutt-laden n00bs... But that has more to do with resurrecting the Necromentate I s'pose

I've always liked the zoo. Celest has nothing like it. That and the deathspam is amusing when one of the animals goes on a rampage.

What deathspam? Most I ever saw was a group of three novices that were hunting mutts together for over an hour, only to be eaten by that cute-ish rabbit thingy after which the got scolded by some higher ranking city members for not killing the atrocity they created... Then I remember almost dieing to that rabbit 'cause I forgot to restock on Health before I decided to go hunt it down in their stead... I won though -phew- Would be quite embarassing to lose to a wittle bunny wabbit

Look up Mary the Zoologist... although now she is called Mary the wedding planner.
