Jigan told me to post a topic called 'The Religion of my goldfish' because of the description of the Real Life forum.

It made me laugh, so, I did it.

I don't even own a goldfish!


But since I've started a thread that is completely useless, here's something just as useless:

Well..my sister fish has her own religion, Meganism. She actually has a follower.

Edit: forgot, we're talking about fishes, just now realized that..:\\ and...I dunno why I said sister, weird.

My goldfish believes in the great path of "year after year, wish you were here"

Its a limited religion, because of his limited brain size, but its basically a comment on the monotony of life and the need for a companion.

If my goldfish had a religion, it'd probably be a cult. My goldfish is cool like that, always killing any other fish in his tank and allowing algae eaters to clean up every so often. Then he kills the algae eaters too.

You sure its not just the nasty dirty algae that he is apparently immune to?

I'm sure my fish kills the other fish. This is because when we first got him we had gotten a bunch of other fish too. Then, mysteriously enough, they all started dying slowly until he was the only one left. It was soon figured out that he killed them because other fish we got, he killed them too.

My goldfish is a catholic. Sometimes he has doubts about the veracity of the trinity, whether Catholicism classifies as a monotheistic cult, or about the very existence of god. But his three-second memory keeps him right on the straight and narrow path.

Are you capable of posting things without mocking other people? Just curious.

My fishes (I have two, had two other but they died of old age ) belong to a cargo cult. When they see an enormous human-sized shadow covering their aquariums, it's a sign that their cargo god will soon send some food - and more often than not, he does!

There's also a black-and-white demon which makes the water level drop. It's my cat, which drinks the water from the aquarium sometimes, apparently because it tastes like... well, fish. She didn't try to eat the fish themselves though, probably too much hassle.
