Worst way to ever have to start the week...

1. For the past few days, my right arm has been starting to ache. It's getting progressively worse as time passes, and I'm just hoping it's growing pains. closedeyes.gif

2. My eyesight's pretty bad right now, and I'll probably need glasses soon. I have to squint to read anything across the classrooms at school.

3. This morning, my little brother doesn't have to go to school because my parents were still at work, but I had to because I rode a bus.

4. On Saturday, one of our two cars broke down. The last one we have is in a fairly horrible state of disrepair as it is, and I'm getting that sick worrying feeling in my stomach. My parents sometimes have to rent a damn U-haul truck to deliver their newspapers. It's not the highest paying job in the world, either, and I'm fairly worried for our financial status.

5. All through today I've had a headache since school started. People just don't know when they should shut up. In Math class, for example, I try to do my homework before class ends, since I don't have a textbook at home. I couldn't do a thing today because people were far too loud, and I couldn't focus on a single thing. My head hurts too much right now to even bother trying to solve what I'd copied from the book.

6. I normally use Nexus to edit help scrolls because Zmud -sucks-. Nexus has been lagging insanely in the brief moments I was on it, editing a few of the Hartstone combat clan's help files.

7. After editing one of the files (to update some Runes things) the scroll I was working on was cut in half, and the bottom half VANISHED. I have no record of it and I'm soooooo censor.gif off.

I think because your eyesight is getting a bit worse, you might be having a headache. I wear glasses myself and if I put them off for a while I get the same. Best go see a doctor about it if you already haven't, if you're fast they sometimes can make it so your eyes fix themselves again. Other than that, try to take it easy and not worry too much, it will only make everything twice as worse. Try talking with your parents and family if you're worried about things, it's hard to do that sometimes, but you'll be feeling a lot better if you get it off your chest.

I do. Shorlen messaged you about it ingame.

Also, I recommend the following: Open up a session of Notepad (or VIM if you're a linux user). Copy/paste the file you want to edit there. Edit it there. Manually wrap everything to 72 characters. Here's a character ruler if you've never seen one before:

123456789112345678921234567893123456789412345678951234567896123456789712

The number every 10 is the ten's digit of the next ten. Wrap your lines with the enter key at the end of the line. Sure it's a bit annoying at first, but you get used to it. This allows you to use whatever formatting, indenting, and extra spaces that you want. You cannot use indention or multiple spaces in a row if you let Rapture wordwrap for you!

When you are done, type ctrl-a, ctrl-c to copy all (if you're using Notepad), then edit the scroll in zMUD, and type *clear, yes, and then ctrl-v to paste the text of the scroll. Before hitting enter, click the computer and gun icons in the lower right corner of zMUD to turn off parsing and triggers. Hit enter. Type *save, yes, and then turn parsing and triggers back on.

This is hardly complicated, and you never have to worry about screwing up, because you still have everything in that notepad session, which you can save to your harddrive if you are worried about it.
