Is using engage supposed to stop climbing out of a pit 100% of the time.

Well, sounds logical to me. As soon as you climb out from the pit, he hits you thus you fall down again.

It sounds logical if I burst a vessel or two in your heart, you could easily bleed to death. Sadly, balance > realism.

First, me loving to show it off? Heh, this is the first time I engaged over and over after the message. Showing it off would mean that I have done it multiple times and ran around saying "Hey, look what I can do!" like statements. Instead it is the my first time seeing it just like you.

Anyhow, if that is the only reason why you could not get out, then it is a problem. I doubt it is the only reason though.

Just a question.. if you fall into a pit indoors and engage stops you from climbing out.. is there -any- way to ever escape the pit (unless your attacker stops engaging)? And also, can you still attack from outside the pit, while those in the pit cannot attack back?

Because.. if that's the case then I think engage really shouldn't stop climbing out of the pit. There should be -some- way to get out of it as there is -some- way to cure everything too or get rid of mecanisms that keep you from leaving (barrier etc).

You have to target someone to disengage. You can't target them inside a pit.

Nothing in these logs should have stopped me from climbing out of the pit. In fact, if they had... I wouldn't have triggered engage upon moving because if you interrupt climbing out of a pit - you don't move.

Just tested engage + pit with Malicia. I reengaged on her just as I did on you. As I said before, it was not engaged that kept you in. Perhaps you can sit down again and figure it out, though I know that the blame actually lies with you.

On the pit, you need to learn how to climb out of one. Seems to me that you are not that capable at it.

Interesting... Narsrim, you could have just said this is aproblem, has anyone looked at it before, instead of saying that Geb is somehow a bad envoy...

Maybe it has a percentage chance of blocking the move? Might be worth some more testing to see how often it's possible to climb out, or if it's always possible and something else went wrong on Narsrim's end.
