They currently do use a CAPTCHA... and guests are not supposed to be able to post.

The CAPTCHA is pretty terrible. Just plain numbers. Make it harder.

I replied to one of the "herbal growth" adverts, and all I got was a special ruler with the word "cm" crossed out and "inches" written over. First accurate ruler I've seen.

Actually, if you read the news stories, they've found ways to break the simple CAPTCHAs. The problem is these people are becoming as dedicated as the Anti-Spam people.
