I created a character. Played long enough to get off of novicehood in two seperate guilds. Got involved, had a bunch of stuff, was aided to a ministry in my commune.
Went on vacation for about four days for the christmas holidays, came back home.
How does deletion work here in Lusternia? Because I'm sort of (very) irritated.
EDIT: http://www.lusternia.com/players.php?lookup=vionne
^ She's not even gone from the website's database! (as of Dec 23, 8:31 PM EST)

It does, but not that swiftly. If you REGISTERed, you shouldn't be deleted until you had at *least* an OOC month of inactivity
Vionne2006-12-24 01:35:43
I am just about 100% dead positive that I registered.
I registered my first character that I had here (that I suicided because I wasn't enjoying her) and she's gone too, and she was made about a week or so ago.

According to HELP REGISTER:
ABOUT REGISTERING AND INACTIVITY
--------------------------------
Characters may be erased after a period of inactivity which varies from
a few days to a few months. The more play time you have, the longer we
wait before counting you as inactive and removing your character.
Unregistered characters are erased after only a single day of inactivity.
You really shouldn't have been deleted that fast That really sucks....

I'm still in the website's system -- I logged in THERE and checked my messages.
I'm not sure whether to be sad or angry.
Does anyone have any suggestions for what I should do?

honors vionne
Vionne, of the Nocture Melody (Female Human).
She is 17 years old, having been born on the 2nd of Avechary, 147 years after
the Coming of Estarra.
She is ranked 839th in Lusternia.
She is an extremely credible character.
She is a Riverwalker in the Fellowship of Explorers.
Her motto: 'La!'
She is considered to be approximately 30% of your might.
She is not currently active in any family.
I can see yah, at least you aren't deleted

I really don't know what to tell you You can email support@lusternia.com, but I don't think they can do anything for you even if they agree it was unwarrented, as I don't think they have backups of characters they delete...
One thing you can do is to just remake your character, same name/race/guild, and say how you were yanked back into the Portal and such, and ask if you can have that favour back and the aide position again, and so on. Dunno how your guild/commune would take it though.

I'm definitely spelling the name right when I try to log in... I'm not even positive what's going on, now... it looks like I'm in the system everywhere except for logging into the game via zmud.
Hopefully emailing support will help...
I'd really been enjoying my time here, and I'm not looking forward to doing newbiehood for the third time.

Try this first: Log into the game via the website java applet (Nexus). It could be something wonky with your zMUD config.
3112h, 4405m, 4252e, 10p, 14405en, 21300w exk-scan
scent
Your trained eyes scan the surrounding area.
You make out the figure of Vionne.
3112h, 4405m, 4252e, 10p, 14395en, 21300w exk-
You scent at the air, your skilled nose picking up the faint traces of others in
the surrounding area.
You make out the scent of Vionne coming from a narrow pass into the Teeth.

Actually, that worked.
I knew asking the forums was the right idea.
My thanks!
I -thought- four days was a little fast.
Time to go poke at zmud some.
Really, thanks again.

Check your autologin triggers, maybe? Or any triggers on your name? Try clicking on chars, rightclicking on the choice you use to log into Lusternia, choosing properties from the menu, clicking over to the character tab, and check the name and password there?

It looks like the problem ended up being something with the profile connecting me to the wrong game, actually.
All fixed, and I'm back in and playing.
Thanks again! Nice to know that I was right about the Lusternian playerbase being very pleasant.
