Just for no reason I decided to compile a list of everyone who's achieved Storyteller rank or above through their Bardic awards. The numbers in parentheses indicate the total number of points they've earned. At the end of the post I'll quote the section of HELP BARDIC that explains this.
Laureate
Catarin (23)
Ialie (20)
Minstrel
Exeryte (14)
Ashar (12)
Neerth (12)
Troubadour
Derian (11)
Yuniko (11)
Callus (9)
Lowe (9)
Narses (9)
Nirrti (9)
Cronnacht (8)
Wuylinfe (8)
Storyteller
Abethor (7)
Aleron (7)
Gwylifar (7)
Lendren (6)
Valarien (6)
Bastion (5)
Iraen (5)
Raizan (5)
Silferras (5)
Thul (5)
Veonira (5)
Vix (5)
Xenthos (5)
Arilyon (4)
Ciera (4)
Iblis (4)
Jasper (4)
Karrack (4)
Koan (4)
Ksilrinda (4)
Kymir (4)
Maelon (4)
Mell (4)
Parallax (4)
Rhosyn (4)
Soll (4)
Vanatul (4)
Yuniko wins the Just Waiting For My Big Break award for the most points without having yet won a Bardic contest.
If you calculate what Ialie's Laureate rank means, it means she's won 2,500 credits from Bardics alone!
(quoted from HELP BARDIC)
REWARDS
-------
There are 3 levels of success in each contest. One winner, up to three
creditable runners up, and any number of minor merit awards. A character
may only enter once per contest. Success in a bardic contest brings with
it the following rewards:
Winner : 4 points and 200 credits
Runners up : 2 points and 100 credits
Merit : 1 point and 50 credits
The winning (and runner up) stories will be displayed on the Lusternia
website shortly after the prizes have been allocated to the characters who
won.
Each time you hit increments of 4 points in the Bardic or Artisanal
contests, you will gain a new rank in that Order, as well as some credits.
That is in addition to the credits you get for being the winner,
runner-up, or merit contestant (see above).
There are 7 ranks. Your current rank is displayed in your HONOURS. The
rank titles are as follows:
Bardic:
1 - Storyteller - 100 credits
2 - Troubadour - 200 credits
3 - Minstrel - 300 credits
4 - Maestro - 400 credits
5 - Laureate - 500 credits
6 - Master Bard - 600 credits
7 - High Bard - 700 credits

Due to popular demand: here is the analogous list for Artisanals!
High Master
Kaileigh (52)
Artisanal Master
Feyrll (24)
Painter
Gelo (21)
Sculptor
Alger (19)
Folken (19)
Illustrator
Daganev (14)
Iraen (14)
Jadryga (14)
Ryannic (12)
Engraver
Alodia (10)
Balizar (9)
Ehecatl (8)
Exarius (8)
Felandi (8)
Ooparu (8)
Sketcher
Visaas (7)
Anarchan (6)
Melgoth (6)
Reiha (6)
Bricriu (5)
Kharaen (5)
Shyshaeia (5)
Tenebrae (5)
Eilaera (4)
Faeran (4)
Turgeis (4)
Incabulos (4)
The Just Waiting For My Big Break, Artisanal Division award goes to Folken, for the most points without having yet won an Artisanal contest.
Special mention of Iraen, who's the only Lusternian so far to achieve ranks in both the Bardic Council and the Artisanal Council!
Kaileigh ... I am just not worthy. Eighteen separate awards, including winning on eight different occasions. 5,400 credits from Artisanal wins! And it's not a scam either, her art is fantastic.

I have a question... If you win so many times you reach the highest rank - do you still get the extra credit bonuses for acruing points? Or is it just straight up whatever you won?
I mean, you get 700 credits for reaching High Master in the Artisanal, for instance, what if after you get it, the next month you win 1st place again... you get the 200 credits for winning 1st, but do you get another set of bonus credits?

All I know is from reading the help file, but my understanding is that the seven bonuses you can earn from the seven ranks are what's possible, no more no less. (Of course you'd still get the credits from the awards themselves.)
If there are extra bonuses out there beyond the 700-credit High Master level, then Kaileigh has even more credits then I thought and we should all kill her.

Oh and can you believe I've never written a short story for Bardic? Poems all the way.
