I'm looking for someone that is a fairly good description writer.
This is a description for a pet based on a mythological creature thus be sure you are up to non humanoid descriptions. The description may not include any form of behaviour (nothing worse then having a creature look fiercely at a god for example) and may not cause a feeling in someone (well obviously no god will for example be scared of an oversized bird)
The guidelines:
- the mythological creature it should be based on (with a certain artistic freedom) is a hippogryph.
what is a hippogryph:
www.gryphonpages.com/relatives/
- it may not have the word hippogryph in it's description (obviously we don't have any in lusternia that we know of, although a roc is a relative of this bird)
that is really all, there will ofcourse be credits for the one I use
(and no I'm not this lazy, I'm just really bad at making descriptions)

Since this is in the trading post, will there be payment for this service?

For Kharaen:

Anyways, I think I'll try too. When I'm finished, should I just post it here or message it to you on the forums, Anisu?

Yeah, I'm blind. Want the description posted here? I'd be curious to see the different ones submitted.

First draft, feel free to change/edit/whatnot
Eldritch white feathers gracefully frame the head and crest of the beast as its amber eyes gaze proudly about the area. A savage beak adorns the fierce visage, which resembles that of a hawk, with ears that protrude from the sides of its head. Downy feathers sprout up in tufts from behind the ears and cascades downward in a mane from the head and crest towards the midsection of the body, ending abruptly there. Sharp claws grace the front feet making a sharp contrast against the hind legs that ends in hooves. The hind section, resembling that of a mare, is covered with fine long gray hair that ends in a swishing tail of the darkest gray bordering on black.
Edit : Alright 2nd draft edited in.

Clise, I thought he said he didn't want the word "hippogriff" in the decsription?
Although I'll give it a try:
At first glance the most notable feature of this magnificent, yet odd creature is its sizeable beak, which glints in the sunlight, hinting at very sharp edges. The beak sits high on the creature's beautiful, streamlined head, with two holes in the top, near two glass-like blood-red eyes and perked ears. Its golden feathers begin from there and coat it in a slick, soft radiance down to its midsection, where normal brown fur begins and coats the horse-like hind legs, complete with a bushy tail. The front legs, however, only covered in beautiful feathers to the elbow, and scaly downward, sport extremely sharp talons, that dig in the dirt under its feet reflexitively. Huge golden wings fold behind its back in an amazing display of color and grace.
Just thought that up then.
