Needless to be brought up maybe, but when you are asleep, don't you see what people do?
Now how the hell does that work? Can we have something when we sleep where when people talk it goes like:
you hear words murmer through your head "...guy died by roc..."
at least something where it is like we have a third eye attached to our foreheads no matter what we do?

Oh, ho, ho, realism! Oh, no, no, we don't get that here. See, uh, people bash topless here while smoking weed, so realism's not really a, a high priority. We haven't had any realism here since about, uh, 123, when I was the only practitioner of it. And I stopped because I was tired of being stared at.

What's funny is, you can't hear what people are saying (except via tells, and aetherwaves) but you can see what they're doing. Which is so the complete opposite of how it should be!

Let's scrap it and go for realism! We should all be driving cars and working on computers, who ever heard of nonsense like raising the dead or drawing power from rocks and pools or flying with little fairy wings? It's just not the way things work in real life!
That said, this is a strange little thing, but it's never really bothered me too much.
EDIT: and nope, I have no clue what the reference was...

No one?

If it makes you feel any better, the answer is lurking in the back of my mind but refuses to come out. Curse my cultural ignorance!
As for sleeping, yes, we need it to be fixed. I like to think of the fact that we can see anything around us even though our eyes are closed as a bug that has been low priority enough to go unsquashed since... Achaea.
