Knight question.

I asked this in another thread, but I was told it wouldn't get noticed.

Here's another question. I plan on becoming an ur'Guard. I'm not really interested in pvp, really only hunting and RP. I know most people say to trans knighthood first, but does that really benefit me at all in hunting? I would think that the abilities given in necromancy (like putrefaction and lich) are actually useful, while it seems that the only things that affect my damage while hunting is weapon/strength.

So my real question is, how far do I really need to learn in knighthood?

The higher you are in knighthood the less you will miss against any target, be it PCs or Mobs.. so I would say as high as you can

Not true. Your accuracy is maxed out by the first skill in your specialization. However, knighthood is still important to trans even for bashing because it affects how much damage you do.

Okay. Knighthood is important.

Necromancy? Yes, it's handy, but by FAR more useful for bashing is the skill 'Surge' in Athletics, which can boost you up to the kind of health typically seen on demigods, when you're around level 70.

For bashing Necromancy and Athletics is usefull too.
Lich helps you reduce exp lose from dying and haev some nice stats boosts too, and there is one damage reducing skill in necromancy too, cant remeber the name right now.
In surge go get regen, boosting, strength and surge. This will help you tank better.

So, knowing that I'm not very interesting in pk, what should I focus learning in?

If I was a warrior who zero interest in ever being around PK, and I had all the money in the world I would get the following:

Trans Environemtn
Mythical Planar
Trans Knighthood
Mythicial Athletics
Trans Necromancy
Trans resilience
Trans Discipline
Trans Discernment
Level 3 Critical hit increaseer
Level 2 Mana regen
Level 2 Health Regen
Gem of Cloaking
Cubix
Level 3 Life torc
280 speed weapons.

Heh.....I don't really have all of the money in the world though.
I think my real question is what to level in now, with the lessons I get from leveling.

Knighthood for damage/accuracy?
Necromancy for putrefaction/lichdom?
Athletics for regeneration/strength/transmute/numbness/surge?

And what about the power factor? Is power a big deal? Would I have problems trying to get the power required for the skills?

Some skills and abilities (i.e. the ones that make astral easier to get to, and easier to survive, make getting power a non issue)

If you're not going to be in PvP then it isn't likely that you'll need more than dross power.
