Still, though, I don't think the question is just whether or not sacrifice is POSSIBLE. It's more about whether it is much more difficult to pull off than parallel Celestine skills.

I've never been Celestine, and have only been a Nihilist for a short time a long time ago, so I have no idea, but I don't think this necessarily addresses the question.

With the change to shrivel I'd say it's much more viable than before. Nevertheless, excellent work.

Well, actually the one you did on me was on Nil during a raid we did against you guys. My bad luck that I started a tumble right before Zalana used ectoplasm and then you crucified. I did not regain balance back from that tumble until right before you sacraficed me, and there was no way I was going to writhe out in time since I was still ectoed. Next time I will ask some mage to cleanse me when that happens.

I hate to break it to you, Torak. But you're not.

Anyway, nice. I'd love to be able to sacrifice as an Ur'Guard.. but it doesn't seem that viable. Maybe a slit lock... hmm

I've never said it was impossible, I've said it is in inefficient far as powercost and reliability goes, then again I never really tried anything but wrack .

I find a toadcurse with hexes less viable actually. A sacrifice is 10p but if I want to hex someone up and use doublewhammies then go for toadcurse ( which is 8p) I often even don't have the power ready *mutter* Really need to work on that.

Don't use more than 2 double whammys at once, if you just drop yourself to six power then mana drain away you will generally have gotten back the extra two power needed to curse.

Once per hour and it's costs 5 sec balance?

Use the whammies to set up a sleep-lock (so long as you're not fighting a dreamweaver). Then just set up a few extra sleep hexes, drain/hex/curse/wane/whatever else to buy time. Each time they wake up, just hex or order them to sleep.

Usually I used three doublewhammies, went for a sleep lock, then just held them down and stacked up more afflictions until I gained more power. Sometimes recklessness is nice to throw in there somewhere too, to keep them from sipping mana.

Very lucky with that Absorption Rune, too. You don't have like six of them, do you?
