A question I never got an answer for. Which runes can you attach to summoned weapons? is there a way to enchance the damage of such weapon, other then becoming a champ that is
Rune of demesnes can only be put on a jewel?
hope to hear from you lot.
thanks in advance.

Only three runes can be attached to summoned weapons. Gripping, Enchantment, and Shielding. All others (barring the rune of dimensional instability) are attached to jewellery.

So the rune that increases magic damage can't be attached to staves and cudgels?

RUNES FOR SPECIAL ITEMS
------------------------
The following runes may ONLY be attached to the following items: mage
staves, druid cudgels, wiccan athames, guardian symbols, and bard instruments.
Great Rune of Gripping
o This will make your rune act as though you had the knight ability of
the same name, causing you to grip your item so that it is difficult
to drop.
o 150 credits.
Great Rune of Superior Enchantment
o This rune will allow the object to be enchantable for up to 75
charges.
o NOTE: If this rune is placed on a staff and charged with an enchantment
you need to POINT, remember you need to POINT STAFF AT
use the enchantment and POINT STAFF
attack.
o 250 credits.
Great Rune of Shielding
o Transforms the object into a shield item, so you may use it for any
shield-related skill.
o 350 credits.
Without wishing to be unduly patronising.. it would seem to be fairly obvious from the context. The above runes may be attached to Staves/Staffs/etc - they cannot be attached to jewellery. Any runes not listed above cannot be attached to Staves/Staffs/etc, but they can be attached to jewellery.
Edit: Except for the HELP ARTIFACTS OFFENSIVE stuff, which just goes on Knightly weapons. Not on jewellery, not on staffs/staves/etc.

Does anyone know if the 50 cr rune that adds 10 extra charges to items would be applicable to magic tomes as well? I know it says 'jewelry' artifacts, but the later descriptions seem like they apply to enchantable objects as well. Okay, I guess the question would be instead, 'Do magic tomes count as jewelry?'. If not, then...
What's better, Rune of Better Charity Influencing (100 cr) or Rune of Increased Willpower Regen (300 cr). Or do those only work on jewelry as well? *so confused*

Actually, they might be able to be attached to summoned weapons, because they have stats. Just the runes would only go into effect when you're swinging the weapons

I seem to remember asking one of the Divine about this before, and the answer I think I got was that you can attach at least some runes to magic tomes. I was probably thinking about the one that turns it into a shield. And it would mean that the tome would reset to me and became permanent and all that. Hope I'm remembering this right.
