I'm planning to set up an alias to call that enters GRID MODULES and then uses triggers to assign module ids to variables. I have two questions.
Is this going to kill Nexus?
Does GRID REPAIR MODULE $mtar work if $mtar is chair10101, or does $mtar have to be 10101, the id number?

1) Dunno, but that's what my empath system does in zMUD.

2) The latter, see the following example:

You must specify the module by its ID number, like SHIP REPAIR MODULE 12358. Use
GRID MODULES to see a list of available modules and their ID numbers.
