Every once in a while I try to tell myself that playing in Glomdoring is one of the only places where I get out my angst for the great and terrible.
But now there's a movie, too!

Watch the theatrical trailer, and you will understand why I wait for this. Actually, I'd probably be good with just a longer trailer, but hey, I take what I can get. If the stories of the huge, overwhelming horde in fantasy books don't quite strike home for you...think back to Thermopylae.

I've been following it since april of 06... I wanna read the comic book it was based on first. 300 by Frank Millar. It should kick ass since almost everything of Millar isn't a piece of crap.... unlike Brian Michael Bendis
...... Bendis....
...... Bendis....

That is the most badass movie trailer, ever. And, whilst usually hard to impressed (or so I claim), I'm drooling at the moment due to the awesomeness of the graphics.

This trailer was already posted on this very forum. *sagenod*.
SPARTAN!
SPARTAN!

Here's a spoiler
The Spartans lose the war

That's totally not the point.
And yes, the graphic novel kicks much ass.

Here's a spoiler.
It took me a few seconds, but then I actually found that funny, whereas I usually intensely dislike spoilers and would have murdered you.
But just to be safe from other people, Corinthian, I suggest you use the new "Insert: SPOILER" feature that has been added to our wonderful forums. Cheers.

that would've been stupid... It's like putting spoiler tags to the fact that
Jesus dies in the pasion of the Christ
Besides.. anyone that doesn't know the battle of Thermopilas should be hanged

And I was going to watch that!
Tzekelkan2007-01-21 23:55:53
Yeah, what's the point of watching/reading something where the main character dies? I want those hours of my life back, Romeo and Juliet.
Unknown2007-01-22 00:01:44
300 (the graphic novel) was good but not great. I think Frank Miller is overrated actually.
Richter2007-01-22 00:04:07
Adding their myspace profile to your friends list increases your total number of pictures you can have to 300, from something much smaller than that.

He's part of my top three with Neil Gaiman (hence Corinthian) and Alan Moore so shut your mouth non-beleiver or Dark Knight Returns will come back again and kick your ass!

Ugh, horrible. And have you seen Braveheart?
You people do realize I'm being sarcastic again, right?
