I would really love to see a public poetry section in the News Room!
Pretty Please? *flutter*
Thanks!

I agree.
Though it might make a nice goldsink if you had to pay to post.

Yeah, quite frankly, most people don't care for poetry (like me). Especially the generic bad kind (which I am guilty of writing).

Roses are red
Violets are blue
I want a poetry news board
Oh wait, no I don't.
Like that?

You have a library. Compile a bunch of poems and make a book .
Genos2007-01-25 03:52:04
No.
Aiakon2007-01-25 11:45:27
Ghastly idea.
As Oraki said, if you want people to read your poetry, use our lovely library system.

I share the opinion of most everyone else here.
No way. That would immediately be on my news ignore. I hated that section on Achaea.

Ick no no no. As said multiple times before, that is why we have libraries.

Meh, I don't mind them adding it if I can ignore it.
Edit: and if it helps clear out some of the clutter in the libraries, that can't be a bad thing... Poets can read each others work and others aren't bothered.
Noola2007-01-25 17:29:05
Why would it be needed? I mean, with the library system, anyone wanting to write and read poetry has access to plenty of it - and it's poetry that has the added benefit of helping the culture of your city/commune.

Let's not forget that Celestian chap, Tenebrae... and the inevitable Serenwilde poems:
I wub to snuggle all day long
The Serenwilde's where I belong
I wub to snuggle my Seren trees
But I don't like the Seren Fleas...
Hello Stars and Hello Moon!
I'm gonna buy faerie wings and snuggle you soon!
etc ad nauseam.
Edit: Do you think I'd make a good spiritsinger?
Daereth2007-01-26 08:04:20
I can certainly see Kalodan takeing his honeycake fetish to the poetry news board. So I will agree with everyone eles and say hell no
