There's a hilltop near that crazy tower thing with nothing but metal slimes of all types and nothing else. You can only get there once you get the godbird stone and can fly.

I haven't gotten the bird, that's my next quest. Also, I found some on that one island in the far southeast that isn't on the map

The hill I'm talking about is awesome. You can easily have two metal king slimes pop up at once.
