First, does anyone know where I could get the messages for Heretic/Infidel/Inquisition? From a sacrament user's point of view, so I can make echos to move on to the next one.

Second, if a warrior lands inquisition (easier than you might think, since I can typically raze with a rapier as soon as they shield on infidel and throw up the inquisition), what should I be doing? As a blademaster, I can throw a few attacks, but is there anything particularly nasty I should shoot for? Crotamine/morphite since kafe is stripped? Chills?

Name glows with a white light.

It's the same message for each stage. Once you manage the inquisition, as a blademaster you should probably go for a slitlock during the inquisition, then pinleg with morphite until they die. You could probably use cromatine if you wanted, but I think damage would work faster.

Nobody expects the Sacrament Inquisition.

Well, with Inquisition they have pretty much no defense, so they're probably dead anyway, just a matter of time.

Morphite could be good, but as a warrior, you'll just wake them up with another attack. Still, it's good if you stab 'em in the foot a couple of times. I don't know if Inquisition strips parrying, but if it does - the better.
Ceren2007-01-27 23:25:29
As long as you make sure to hit heavily wounded areas, morphite will keep putting them back to sleep after each hit until they shrug. If this does happen, you still have a chance to put them back to sleep because pinleg stops insomnia and outrifting of kafe, which they wouldn't be able to eat anyway if you succeeded in slitlocking them. You won't be able to maintain this forever, but with good broadswords it should be enough to get the kill.

I think Ixion's point is that everyone expects Celestines to use Inquisition. tongue.gif

Talkan inquisitioned me and the fight continued for some time after... unsure.gif

Wow, you're very adamant about this, Nerra.
ferlas2007-02-08 11:15:50
To be fair though against someone half decent an inquisition should lead to a death unless something really unlucky happens.
Shamarah2007-02-08 11:20:03
Not necessarily. If the Celestine doesn't have either a soulless or the potential to damage kill you, inquisition won't kill you, being as they won't have power to judge or absolve.
Murphy2007-02-08 11:22:34
Hmm i haven't been in the action for some time, but if during the inquisition process you did some good wound damage to their head and maybe got it to heavy, you could go for a behead during the inquisition time
Shryke2007-02-09 06:49:44
You should always have a soulless prepped for inquisition.
Mogg2007-02-09 17:31:51

I don't understand how you mean it's easy for a warrior to land inquisition. Sure, it's possible, but the time, effort and power wasted simply to inquisiton someone is much better put to use say, in lunges.

Your razing ability is a good point, however shielding is just one form of avoiding inquisiton. Carcer + engage + blocking usually isn't enough to keep someone still long enough to pull off the entire chain. In my experience, people will run as soon I even just heretic them. Infidel beyond a doubt, they bolt. If you really wanted to pull off the inquisition, I'm sure using the right poisons and stuns (BC mainly), you could. However, like I said, the trouble involved isn't worth it.

Basically, if I have someone that immobilized already, they're going to get brain bashed, not inquisitioned.
