So I was reviewing the artifact choices and hit upon a couple I wanted a comparison on.

The endurance gem which turns a manse room into an Endurance Regeneration Room costs 100 credits. There is also the Great Rune of Bodily Fortitude for 250 credits.

Obviously, the great rune's benefits are felt provided you are wearing the runed piece of jewelry. Any clue as to what the actual bonus for each is?

both regenerate the same amount, and they do stack. There is an old thread looking at the numbers of willpower regen, not sure about endurance.

I wouldn't buy either of them, unless you're going to run out of endurance all the time, for some reason (something I've never done, in the process of bashing up to level 80). If you must buy one, buy the rune, so that it's portable.

If you have 250cr lying around to spend, save another 100 and buy a regeneration rune or something. There's a good number of cheap artifacts out there that are nice, that I'd get over an endurance artifact (I've actually never bought one, and I own many artifacts).

Save up for a rune of absorbtion, no doubt best arti in the game, while arti-pipes are quite useful in their own way.

I have the pipes and they help an awful lot.

Wrong about this, but right about the rest, Elryn and I wrote up a pretty extensive thread about that, I think it was one of the first few in myth busters?

Edit:Yup Here it is.

edit:edit:Considering you wanted to know the comparison, here it is striped of all the other results in the thread:

I'm unable to test out the willpower rune, but I've seen elryn's testing figures, and I can say it's a much bigger boost itself then everything else combined. where as I regen around 20-39 each tic, depending on circumstances, Elryn was regening up near 50-70.
To quote myself, the gem + meditating + a chair, still doesn't hold a candle to the rune, it's by far the best addition you can pay for, AND it's the only portable one.

I have never run out of it. But I suppose if you were a dreamweaver or something, it would be an issue.

Except that dreamweaving saps willpower..

Get a bonecrusher to hit you in the chest a few times, and you'll see why regenerating endurance is extremely important (sometimes). wink.gif
