I was talking to a gent on the Train yesterday, who works for a big Insurance Agency. He started talking about some of the weird things he's dealt with. Things like a woman who died in her car while she was applying makeup while driving.

I asked what the weirdest claim/accident he's ever encountered in his department was.

Apparently, there was a truck driver who had Seven(!!) wacko.gif blink.gif prostitutes with him in the truck cab (this is the driving section, not the cargo), and I guess they were all "doing stuff". He ended up getting into an accident and dying. Families of the seven sued for damages. rolleyes.gif

Seven in one cab?!!!!!! blink.gif blink.gif blink.gif blink.gif blink.gif blink.gif blink.gif

I have issues with mass long-distance transportation because of things like that. I took a Greyhound cross-country once and sat one row in front of a paramedic with an odd sense of humor. I'd tell you the stories I overheard, but they'd be edited at first glance. They were most about removing objects from orifaces. I'll leave it to your imagination--your imagination is not as bad as reality.

I work for an insurance company, but it's medical, so I've never seen anything like seven hookers in a truck! In fact, I don't remember the last time I saw something weird... Well, except the time I was looking through lists of diagnosis codes for what all could really go wrong, and I got to the accident codes and saw there were spacecraft accident codes in there. laugh.gif

Insurance for Astronauts? You'd think NASA would have them covered.

Funny, because we cover Boeing, who probably works/has worked with NASA. But anyway, the codes are nationally recognized diagnoses that all insurance companies and medical organizations use. No astronaut insurance, sorry!
