Does anyone know how many required between each cityrank?

The number would vary depending on the person who favoured you. A cityfavour coming from someone with rank six would bump you more than a favour coming from someone with rank two.

Though this is theoretically believable, rank 2 people can't cityfavour you at all. I suspect that a GM or City leader's favour counts more than a CR6's but I'm not sure.

It's two favours from CR1 to CR2.. it's a few more than that to CR3... from CR5 to CR6 takes ages.

If I remember right...it's something like this:

Rank 1 to 2: 2 favors
Rank 2 to 3: 2 favors
Rank 3 to 4: 3 favors (not sure on this one)
Rank 4 to 5: 4 favors
Rank 5 to 6: 4 favors

Supposedly if a GM or city leader favors you, their favor is stronger, but I've never been able to tell a difference myself. It makes a MUCH bigger difference for guild favors.

I haven't got any figures... but yours seem vastly off, based on my memories of how long it took me to go up cityrank.

From CR1 to CR2: 2 Favours
From CR2 to CR3: 3 Favours
From CR3 to CR4: 4 Favours
From CR4 to CR5: 5 Favours
From CR5 to CR6: 7 Favours

...I think is more accurate. A GM/city leader's is the same as a CR6, but I don't know about the leader of the organization.

It definitely didn't take me 7 favors to get to CR 6...maybe because I had some from the leader.

Raikogen cdf'd someone, and it took a starcouncil and a cr6 cf to get him back up, so either a cdf counts more then a cf, or Raikogen has a stronger favor. And Reiha's figures seem closer to what I remember.

So the maximum commune/city rank is 6?

Hm, 16 more wildnodes/village influencing and I'll be set for CR6 . Not as bad as I thought it would be.

But they're sorta boring for mages, especially village influencing, where I spent one Dairuchi in the spider caves that I melded staring at the Serens, equally bored, to the north.

But the second half of wildnodes was fun this time, even though the first have was basically sitting on Astral growing more and more insane for no reason so that when we actually did something, we were all either neurotic or highly neurotic

I really need to find more ways to get CFs...

About the 7 from CR5 to CR6...I thought I saw more when they were trying to get Zalandrus to CR6...but that might have been that Zalandrus was below CR5 when they started favoring him.

I had fun in wildnodes this month as a mage .

How many mages on each side? I think it was me and Sipelus for the Aquamancers. What about the Geomancers? Not surprisingly, you were our primary target . But my mending vial decayed, and that wasn't pretty in the Geo demesne and astral creatures. Knockdown + stun is so annoying >.<

For some reason, a CDF from any rank (between CR6 and GMs) takes two or more favours to get back (if you were a CR6 when you got it). I've seen it happen multiple times to Haiden

No, the welcome/oastrasize thing was Narsrim welcoming Munsia, and some random City Leader kicking her. Don't remember who. I'll do some serious forum searching tomorrow, when I'm wide awake and ready to commit hours to reading through old threads.

I should be able to tell you exactly how many favours it is, as glomdoring spent its first few months just favouring the ministers.

3 gms and a city leader, would fully favour a minister in 4 months if I remember correctly, but I don't remember all thtat well.
