15 hours until the new episode!



I know some of you have been waiting for quite a few YEARS for this, me.. well I stoped watching when the filler started, and just watched all the filler in the last week to get 'caught up'. Not that a lot of it was any good, some of it was nice though, but enough of that NEW NON-FILLER episodes starting in 15 hours!

New Naruto!

I'm thinking the first episode will be Naruto going off with Jiraya, then they'll do the Kakashi story for the timeskip. I'm rather looking forward to it.

Naruto already went off with Jiraya in Episode 220.

I'm not sure if they'll do the Kakashi story line or not, if they don't I'm going to be a bit upset. (they could at least slip it into some flash backs)

Same here. That short arc explains a lot about the 4th Hokage and how Kakashi got his eye. Without it, you would have to read the manga to get that back story. Everyone else is just in the dark.

Anyway, I'm VERY happy they decided to GET ON WITH IT, a year of filler episodes was really wearing on my nerves. I stopped watching it a while ago and hope to get back into the story (as long as they are true to the original). If I was Kishimoto, I would have already pulled all my hair out after seeing what they did to the show...

I dislike the dubbed anime with a vengence. Manga for the win.

O_o dubbed? I like quite a lot of dubbed versions of animes, naruto is not one of them.

I watch the subbed episodes of Naruto on youtube. The dubbed voice actor of naruto... I just can NOT stand him, his voice is high pitched and whiney.

Anyway, they are going to be skipping the Kakashi story line, which is VERY unfortunate if you ask me, Kakashi is awesome.

No Kakashi arc?!? Oh, just kill me now. Farewell Naruto...

I stopped watching during the filler (I guess the last episode I saw was about some bug they were going to find), but I seriously stopped enjoying the series a lot earlier.

If you ask me, Naruto should have stopped after the whole "Sand and Sound raid the Leaf Village" arc. Hokage's dead, Orochimaru has his hands permanently crippled/unusable (and can't change bodies using some lame jutsu which doesn't require you to use hand seals! I'm sure Hokage wouldn't sacrifice himself like that if he knew Oro's just going to shrug it off like that - and he SHOULD know...), Gaara might be still alive, but could as well be dead. Seriously - Tsunade makes a rather lame Hokage, the search for Tsunade/battle with Itachi story arc was not very good (too much in-episode filler!), and the Shikamaru team arc was a waste of time. It's good that they allowed everyone in the team to shine and show off their combat skills (especially Chouji who didn't get a lot of screen time before), but the whole thing about them nobily sacrificing themselves using lethal techniques ONLY TO SURVIVE AFTER ALL was too much for me to suspend the disbelief. Well, I guess killing them all off one by one wouldn't be much better...

That was long. Anyway - Naruto needs less filler (not only THE filler, but less in-episode filler when NOTHING important/funny happens) and definately less retrospection. That'd make the series much better.

I'll agree that retrospection needs to die.

O_o The 3-way battle between the Sanin (during the search for Tsunade arc) was my second favorate only to the Third's battle, maybe better in some cases, because the Third's battle stretched out over a good 20+ episodes in tiny pieces.

I think leaving it at the invasion would have been a misstake, Sasuke needed to fully spiral down into where he is in the manga after the 2-year gap.

I really need to get my hands on the manga. Maybe I will once the manga series ends.

Hrm, so they're not going to do Kakashi Gaiden then? Where's it in the manga? I might as well just read it then. And were there any good episodes in those fillers? I stopped like 50 episodes ago but I heard some were interesting. And and, what's this about Naruto going off with Jiraiya? Oii I miss Naruto.

Yep it looks like it was the Rescue Gaara arc. Which ep does it begin at? Er nevermind, the Rescue Gaara arc is in the second season... CRAP I SAW SPOILERS *rips out eyes* It was the Shiitenshounin arc that I meant.

The hidden star village wasn't filler, it was in the manga.

I must be the only person here who doesn't like Naruto. Reading the current installment of the manga, delayed by a given week or two... or was still reading it. It just goes on and on and on and gets repetitive, like Dragon Ball Z almost.

After seeing Sailor Moon Live-Action, you'll realize how good most anime is compared to the alternatives...
