I just wanted to say... YAY! for us. And cookies to all our hard-working leaders that have made us not only the top Bardic guild, but holding our own against other guilds as well. Thanks to everyone who's been there fighting to make the Spiritsingers survive since the beginning, and thanks to all our younger members who have been making great strides in seeing that things continue to be fun and have been adding to our ranks. And to everyone else outside the guild who has lent their help through-out the in-game years as we fought through getting some of the earlier kinks worked out.
Special kudos to Lendren for being the last remaining original Bardic guild leader. You are awesome.
EDIT: Oh, and I can and will be releasing a firework or two on the beginning of the 2nd of Urlachmar.

Missed it? The celebration hasn't started yet.
EDIT: Owww.... crown smilies make me sad.

tenth anniversary of the Spiritsingers.
Yay! And thank you, Charune, for the extra fireworks!

It had to be done.

Yeah, that sizzling crackling blue bolt of fireworks hitting Incabulos was very nice. Oh, and those other fireworks were pretty good too!
Wheee! This was a lot of fun. We intentionally didn't plan it too much -- a few activities to fall back on when things got quiet but mostly we just went with the flow. And I think it worked. Amavan is going to pay, though, for missing it!

I warned you the only songs I had were bawdy drinking songs!

So Charune can play a flute and sing at the same time?

Oh, that wasn't a flute. People just cannot truly comprehend Divine apendages

Imagine that scene from the perspective of someone standing right next to Him, and allow your mind to wallow freely in the gutter.

I was standing right there, and you know what, I'd rather not. >.> The song in itself was enough.

Really was a great time even though I was rather distracted with OOC things. Thank you everyone for all your hard work putting that together, and the dedication over the years to make it all possible. Sorry for all those who couldn't attend to hear Charune's diddy, along with Ialie's performance. As for the flute thing, me thinks he could have just sang a verse then played the flute like Jethro Tull!

Beatboxing Flute would be better if he can be like this guy
Amarysse2007-02-26 06:24:18
Well, I was trying to come up with a "Bawdy Song" for the contest Lord Charune inspired, and all I could come up with was this slightly dirty limerick instead.
The Hunter with consummate skill,
Launched His arrow deep into a Trill.
Though at first it surprised her,
His dart hypnotized her-
Now she worships His aim with a will.

O.o ... I play the flute and ... wow. Got to give that guy some major credit.
Unknown2007-02-26 09:12:06
Yah that flute guy is pretty ridiculous. But one has to question how much free time was devoted to learning how to do that.
Lendren2007-06-30 04:04:28
Necromancy alert!
Hooray for the Spiritsingers' 20th anniversary party! Linwe and I were scrambling to write those scavenger hunt clues right up to the last minute (while I was cooking dinner at the same time). The raffle (ticket purchase price = one entertaining performance of any kind) was great; it was neat seeing some of you let yourselves go with some really weird and silly improvisatory stuff. I had fun, hope everyone else did too.
