Hello everyone.

a year and a half ago or so Narses met Cairam in the forest of Glomdoring. Little did I suspect at the time that the person behind Cairam will captivate and capture my heart in the manner she has.

On this day, the 26.2.07, Cairam will be going on a flight to Israel to come and live with me.

I would like to thank everyone with providing me with many fond memories. And I thank Lusternia and its administrators for setting up the stage upon which we met one another.

Thank you all once again.

Oren.

I always enjoy hearing stories of love that transcends the internet and blossoms into something passionate and tangible in the real world through the various IRE games. They make me all warm and fuzzy inside and give me hope that one day I will find something just as amazing. Congratulations to you both and I wish you both all the warm fuzzies inside that you can handle and a lifetime of love.

They sell something that they call shwarma, but its not made with any lamb or even lamb fat. It's just pure turkey, and the laffas just don't compare.
Ayridion2007-02-28 19:16:06
Congratulations to you both!

For her initiation, Cairam MUST have falafel for her first meal in Israel. It is a requirement for leading a full life in Eretz Yisrael. *nod me*

maybe, but only if it is in a Laffa. Personally, I would take her to Shnitzi. Nothing says Israel like your option of Morrocan, Chinese, Spanish or Regular Shnitzel. (they have some others but I don't remember the names)

I like those potato things myself. I don't remember what they're called, but I know they're a Hebrew dish. One of my friends back in college indoctrinated me during some holiday of hers.

Latkas?

I think they have them in the south as well, known as grits, but I could be wrong.

Then there are the suf-gan-iot... Why does everything Israeli end up in a frying pan?
Unknown2007-02-28 21:24:10
Yes, Latke. yum.gif

Grits is not made from potatoes though. Grits is made from corn, it's a mushy porridge type thing I can't stand. sick.gif

Maybe you are thinking of Potato cakes? They are very similar to Latke, though the Latke I had weren't formed and compressed in to a shape like Potato cakes I've had usually are. They were loose and thin, and dripping in oil.

Nope I was thinking of Grits, just only heard about them from movies, so didn't know they were made of corn. I thought they were dripping in oil, not porridge. tongue.gif
