Could power ministers please be given the option to automatically have novices who join from the Portal powerblocked with no message sent to them, and the option to have them auto unblocked when they graduate? I've seen many novices either think they did something wrong when they are powerblocked just after joining the game, or get offended that we put such a restriction on them, not understanding that they can still draw dross power.

This has been something I've wanted since Lisaera's player was still with Lusternia.

I've never heard arguments against it per say, merely that's it's just not as important as other things.

Yeah. Also, the auto unblocking of people who graduate novicehood would be wonderful, as some people just get missed and remain blocked forever, and get really pissed about it. I've seen it happen at least three times in the Serenwilde, and at least two of the people left over it, thinking they were being punished for something and not knowing what : (

Would be nice. Can't imagine why this wouldn't be implimented.

Why do novices need to be blocked in the first place?

So they don't draw 200 power and suicide? Novices really don't need that much power, dross is plenty. It also prevents malicious acts by alt-scummers too, like Faytte, from draining an org.

Every place I've been to so far has a custom to powerblock novices. It's almost embedded within Lusternia. I believe the admins recognise this too - why else would dross be implemented? (don't ruin my logic with sensible arguments, please)

Anyway, this is one of the features that, if implemented, could made more novices stay and become "old" players. And we want that, right? Right?
