I plan on going back to rituals|necromancy eventually, after my cow fun is done. I know have I have some bound credits coming to me. But what do you all think I should do with my credits/lessons, with regards to being bashing oriented, or pk oriented? Thanks!

As a Warrior you'll want Trans BC. Without a doubt. It'll help with your miss rate.

You'll also eventually want to Trans Planar, especially if you want to partake in PK. Conglutination is very very nice.

Otherwise, the main things you want to trans are your Guild Skills. Though I think some will tell you Trans Athletics isn't fully worth it?

Get to surge in athletics at least. (50% mythical)

So trans BC, then Planar, then other guild?

Which is better, hunting or necromancy and what are the pros and cons of both?

Tracking and Necromancy are probably equal in usefulness, just in different areas.

Necromancy provides a lot of buffs to your defense and a couple of decent group-combat attacks (Ectoplasm, Omen, Crucify).

Tracking provides virtually no buffs, but has a wider array of utility skills. Traps can be effective to help you start a fight on your terms, as well.

None-the-less, people love to complain about whatever skill they have, so you'll hear complaints about both as being terrible. So, go with whatever you feel suits your character better.

Rituals is great. No one would dispute that. But Necromancy.. not so much. I love lich deeply, and I love ghost... but I wouldn't regard those skills as anything like outbalancing the need for trans BM and planar.

I found Necromancy to be a bit disappointing, as well. I'd like it if they'd have left out skills like drain, puterefaction and such, and made it a more offensive skillset. The ability to do some indirect damage or lay down some afflictions (without being overpowered) would have made Necromancy a better choice for a warrior in my opinion.

Athletics:
Strength is at Virtuoso and is a must-have skill. You want that additional +3 buff to str. Trust me.
Surge is good for bashing, but for PvP it's useful only against people who don't have mana-based instakills, paralysing and heavy bleeding. So more or less no one.
Immunity is one below surge and is a great defense against poison-users, mostly other warriors, ecologists and telekinetists.

Other abilities in Athletics aren't that useful.

Other skills which have low-rank abilities:
Discernment: get this to Master. You want ThirdEye, and Potionlist. They are incredibly handy.
Influence: Adept if you want to participate in village influencing, to have Analyze. Lets you see which mob is ready for influencing and which isn't.
Highmagic: Yesod, I think it's at Apprentice or Capable. It's invisibility, and it's good for you - even against those who have ThirdEye, as it masks some of your actions even for them (for example, moving).
Environment: Squinting is rather nice. It's at Capable if I recall correctly.

Apart from these, you can focus on Discipline. FocusMind is very useful, but noth as must-have as it used to be before, because locks and telekinesis duel-paralysis have been nerfed.

Wrong. Weathering, constitution, vitality, and breathe deep are all useful. (3 of those are learned by a novice with 13 lessons, though : P )

Also which do I get first? Planar rest of lessons in BC, or BC and get planar when I can trans?

It's +2.

It's +3 weight, which always gives +2 actual. You're both right!

Trans BC first, without trans BC you will miss more. Then trans planar. In that order.

There are other nifty abilities in the common skill sets you might want to look into, but they don't take priority over planar/guild skills. I enjoy being able to make vials out of gems myself (glasswork, arts capable 0%) and being able to squint and perceive (environment adept 50%) and checking what potions I have is another must, for me (discernment 50% master). So, if you feel you don't want to fully trans something like athletics, that extra can be spread around nicely to some of these common skills.
