Racial Clans

I did some searching through the clans in-game, but that gets a bit tedious. I'll likely have Linaeve try to find out in an IC manner, but for my own curiosity, is there a clan set up for the Viscanti race as of yet? I'm also wondering what other races have clans so far, besides Lucidians, which I'm aware of.

Thanks!

I set up one for Furrikin, Sparks of the Playful... still looking for unclaned Furrikin!

Its called Magnagora tongue.gif

Pretty much, the races which have their own Org aren't represented by a clan. Viscanti in Mag are the elite, and some of the families, at least originally, we're very picky about only allowing Viscanti members.

Lucidians+Trill have a clan, Dracnari have a clan, Furrikin have a clan, Loboshigaru have a clan, Aslaran have a clan, and unless tae'dae are included in the furrikin clan, I think that's it.

I am a Furrikinist, I do not allow Tae'Dae :-p mainly because we are a Furrikin clan, not an Ackleberry clan.

The racial clans tend to be neither prevalent nor prominent, mostly due to the fact that inter-organization IC camaraderie does tend to be discouraged. While they may exist, you probably won't find a lot of people in them or a lot of activities going on in them.
Callia2007-03-03 19:15:19
Aye, mine does include a no Gloomie policy.

Also, out of fallen's list, the only clan I know of that was actually set up to be a racial clan was the Loboshigaru one. All of the others had another motive to them.

Edit:Ya the lobo clan is still around.

Unitos has been around lately. Cough up those points.

Ixion beat me to it.

I am pretty sure that the Dwarves have one - the Mountain Kingdoms or something like that.

Shards of Xyl is fairly active. It's a Lucidian clan. Not to be mixed up with the Eliz Tirita or the Mirh Barosi.

Raan's active. Do I get double points since he's clanhead?
Linaeve2007-03-03 23:50:25
Thanks a lot. What's the Mirh Barosi/Eliz Tirita?

Makes sense, though, about the Viscanti. I was mainly looking for a clan not for unity, as there is definitely that with the Viscanti in Magnagora, but research purposes. I think, though, that the library is sufficient tongue.gif
Sarrasri2007-03-03 23:59:49
The Eliz Tirita is a clan that's goal is to see the rise of Hallifax while the Mirh Barosi is a clan that's goal is to see the rise of Gaudiguch. Not exactly racial clans but many lucidians and trill join the Tirita and lots of Dracnari join the Barosi.
Razenth2007-03-04 19:45:04
I'm seriously disappointed by those clans. Especially if you're a member of both.

QFT.

And more to the point.. it's a large statement of disloyalty to your own city if you're committed to raising a new one. I seriously frown at Magnagorans who are members.
Hazar2007-03-04 19:58:35
They are indeed dissapointing.

At one point I contemplated making a Gaudiguch-seeking rogue character almost purely for the sake of radicalizing Mirh Barosi.

Then I realized Veyda's more fun. But if he ever gets exiled/immensely humiliated/cast out by a god, you'll know where to find me!

Back when I played Furloch, I convinced Daevos and the council to institute a 10k per IG year tax on anyone in those clans. But when I was gone, people's whinning overcame the good RP sense and logic of it, and the tax was taken off the books.
Unknown2007-03-04 20:27:13
I remember that. People got *so* pissed off by it.
