Clearly, one can use Pookas to force sending messages. Usually this wouldn't be a problem because you can tell when a pooka manipulates you and you'd get to see the text of the message you sent. But what if you hid it in the spam of battle? Challenge a political rival (with whom you are on good terms) to a friendly spar/training match for a coming conflict. Invent a justification. Or just do this to people you hate from other orgs. Have your pooka/demon/song ready. Trigger the under control message to send something awesome (example below) and then change a variable so it'll only force it once. Chances are they'll miss it in the spam of battle. So just have a carefully worded message to someone in power.
Be subtle. Don't announce their resignation from some important position, or do anything that said person in power will confront them about later so they can just deny it. Don't send anything that will prompt any kind of reply or follow-up. Just damage their reputation. Send along a message to the effect of "I've been questioning Viravain's teachings of late, as well as those of Mother Night. I want to stay in the Shadowdancers but I feel this attraction to openness and transparency. I want to know where the commune is going. I feel this urge to promote a sense of justice and protect the weak. To be honest, I don't know where I'll find myself in the next few months. I just hope Glomdoring is still the place for me."
I'm sure the truly evil could do better than that too. I'm attracted by the idea of totally evil political machinations. Maybe it would restore more interest in politics. I'd be interested in peoples thoughts about things like this, but right now I'm going to go reread "The Prince"

I've had some fun with ordering Serens to talk about the glory of the wyrd on CT. I wanted to pooka someone to shout about rejecting the Serenwilde except then I found out that shout isn't forceable.

Please, oh please, don't encourage this. It's bad enough when silly ones like that get through the cracks.

My only problem with the above is that Messages may be considered OOC communication. The fact is though, people use them for IC communication all the time. It's a gray area. In concept though, if you're RPing a Machiavellian politician, a conniving and plotting power-monger, this is part of the deal. Maybe it's griefing, I don't know, I don't do it, none of my alts ever have, but it interests me as a form of RP that's underused.

Haha, but I do remember that time you left for Glomdoring and caught Narsrim, someone else and I talking about IC things on our OOC combat clan...psssh.

Hehe but you'll also remember that I seamlessly inserted myself into your conversation rather than continue to spy on you!
