Keep in mind that the website doesn't count the specialized races, e.g. High Elfen. They aren't "Elfen" per se.
Daganev2007-03-08 23:57:30
There should be more krokani... *pout*
Sipelus2007-03-08 23:59:36
Now that I think about it, I don't really know any active dwarves. Or do I?
Vix2007-03-09 00:01:25
Tully? He doesn't fight so the disadvantages don't affect him. People generally don't like to be short and hairy.
Sipelus2007-03-09 00:14:12
Oh yes, Tully, completely slipped my mind. I rarely, if ever interact with him.
Unknown2007-03-09 00:21:21
He stops by the seren sometimes. I saw him a few days ago actually; he's usually fun to interact with.
@Vix I can't stand that old : P smilie anymore, the tongue is much to small.
I do have to agree though, these numbers are pretty meaningless because they don't include the spec'ed races. I believe Titans or demigods are also excluded, as are changelings. Maybe undead too, but I'm not as sure about that.

Meh, fine. I'll just swipe Achaea's tongue smilie instead (although it's more work for me to do that than rip the one for post icons).
And a racial adjustment would be nice as well. Poor dwarves...
Hazar2007-03-09 01:03:15
And dracnari, and trill (a bit less so), and any big/slow race like igasho and tae'dae.
Unknown2007-03-09 02:10:11
Eh, that might take a while considering the number of fixes the admins have been pouring out lately. Unless they've finally finished with all the envoy stuff?
Furien2007-03-09 02:14:05
Pah, I'm sure half of those humans are just there for the experience bonus.
Xavius2007-03-09 02:19:15
That list is not at all in the order of generally-agreed strength. I'm not sure what that means for your case, buuuut...
Sipelus2007-03-09 02:20:50
I remember reading somewhere that, if races are gonna be looked at, they're gonna check all races at the same time.
Also, krokani being second last goes ironically well with the race's description:

Added to the fact that they are not a very fertile race, the krokani are becoming rarer and rarer to find in Lusternia.

Ha, I'm actually guilty of doing Human (OOCly for the exp bonus ) though I ICed to Lobo. Though I must admit, it's kinda hard to roleplay it right when people in Celest keep asking my why I did it like it's a crime to be a Lobo Aquamancer. Kinda sucks for my game now, but combat was never my thing in the first place (and I'm literally attempting to RAT to Titan-hood). Even in Achaea, my Occie's main methods of combat are:
ASTRALFORM -> runaway
HERMIT -> runaway
UNIVERSE -> runaway
EDIT: few typos

Krokani need some love too. Missed them.

Heh, some people tend to forget about changeself and go "Wtf, you're Tae'Dae, reincarnate to Merian!!1". Quite amusing to argue with them. I recently started abusing the glamour again, granted, only changing to races that'd be plausible for mages, still got some odd looks though *gasp* "Faeling!"

Well, not a big basher but the bonus is nice nonetheless. Damage is pretty poor when put next to merian output but it's not like I actually use that staff too frequently since I switched to telepathy. Also, the health is decent for a mage.

You are bad person! Though whenever I'm honours-ing or even looking at you (when Sipelus decides to hold still IC), I keep seeing Human. Though I should've thought about changeself. Would've made it easier if people saw the dispel and didn't look at Denust the second time.
EDIT: And Faelings have godly Psionics, so I don't know why you'd get looks for that. (Sheesh, with 15 INT and 17 CHA with Netzach? Powerful Psion right there)
