Recently, Magnagora had the pleasure of uniting two of its most cherished members: Feyrll and Bhairan. It was a typical Magnagoran wedding, complete with blood pacts, demon lords, and images of grandeur. After the vows were exchanged and the ceremony over, something quite imaginative happened:
=====
Darkfire Nariah d'Iasani says to Bhairan, "Bhairan Feyranti you may, and you
should naturally, kiss the bride."
Darkfire Nariah d'Iasani says, "Hail to the newlyweds!"
A strange energy pulses throughout the room. The huge throne of skulls situated
in the back of the chamber begins to crack and splinter. The Iron Maiden in the
corner twists and turns before crashing into the floor. The Roaring Flames in
the other extinguish near instantly. The gleaming silver web grows transparent
before melting into a pile of sticky goo. The writhing masses of mutated flesh
lash out at those present, flailing in protest.
=====
After the initial "wtf?" people moved on, gladly. As my character, I was annoyed. But in truth I was sitting behind my desk giggling to myself with admiration at whoever the prankster was. We later heard it was a celestian dreamweaver. Dont know who.
So, what do you think? Funny? Bad Taste? Either way, people are going to remember it.

I attended the wedding and it was a real wtf, but I must admit it was very nicely put together. Seemed very real. Made you think what the 'masses of mutated flesh' had against Bhairan or Feyrll.

IC, of course, begone foul spirit for your prophecy shan't happen, it is done and will not be revoked! But on a totally OOC level I must admit it was ingenious, and of a very high standard. Probably many remain oblivious as to the meaning it attempted to conveyed though.
Those "masses of mutated flesh", Callus, are a representation of the Demon Lord Gorgulu, and the other effigies represent the remaining Demon Lords and Lady. As I see it, the 'event' was a forecast of what shall happen or a protest of 'Nil' (or its effigies just used as tools) as to what has happened - this union is to bring doom upon us or is not seen as favourable.
Quite the way to spoil someone's wedding, without much reason really though. I hope the newlyweds will battle the 'fate' though and shrug it off.
