Justicealtar:
TOUCH - Transports New Celest citizens to Celestia
TOUCH SPRING - Transports to the Guardian Altar from the eternal spring
Enemies of New Celest will be driven insane on the plane of Celestia. Discretionary powers can be freely used on the plane of Celestia
Citizens of New Celest receive level 3 regeneration on the plane of Celestia.
Purepearl:
TOUCH - Transports New Celest citizens to the Tide Lords
TOUCH CORAL - Transports to the Guardian Shell from the golden coral
Enemies of New Celest will be driven insane on the water plane.
Discretionary powers can be freely used on the water plane
Citizens of New Celest receive level 3 regeneration on the water plane.
Please, never use these constructs. It's ridiculous to discourage what little fighting we have left even further. I don't understand why a game which includes skillsets which are based around killing would make so many rules to squander killing.
So please, I beg of you all-do not use these constructs. Ever.

Couldn't we just remove those powers instead? That transportation ability is really nice...
Unknown2007-03-24 15:53:53
Depending how much insanity is given, I would have to agree with Talkan. We have enough defenses on each plane and the supernals/demonlords/avatars are powerful enough.
Unknown2007-03-24 15:54:39
Those are silly. Why would Celestia/Water ever be influenced by enemies of Celest?
meaning, I agree.
meaning, I agree.
Aiakon2007-03-24 15:54:55
I disagree.
It does not stop conflict, it moves it.
It's an extra incentive to try and take down enemy constructs at the next available opportunity. Which I think is great.

For the communes, this thing's really useless (transportation from aetherbubble to Ethereal, which is right next door. Riiiiight.) except for a regeneration it adds while on the plane.

Where does it say they are?
The source of the insanity is the construct, surely.

Well.. actually from watching deathsight today Amaru and some others kept raiding Magnagora for hours and hours and hours wasn't it? I suspect that with that construct that wouldn't be possible anymore. Sure they can raid, but they'd have to stop too.
I don't see the point of stressing people out until they QQ simply because all they get from the game is death and death again when they are raided 24/7 (or close to).

I'm more worried about free discretionary powers. Every raid would have to fight through a million powers...
EDIT: That said, this is a good concept. It will definitely make raiding a whole hell of a lot more interesting. And destroying constructs will take, how shall we say, a new sense of urgency. Besides, being driven insane will only be a problem if you linger for entirely too long.
Unknown2007-03-24 21:11:40
Do these bonus regenerations stack with racial regenerations?
If not, sucks to be a regeneration rate. If so, bleh, heh. With construct battles depending heavily on who has more people I hear, I'm not sure I like the idea of making individual combat on the planes less common.
EDIT: If the problem is constant hit and run raiding, have the constructs make the denizens of the plane way more annoying to kill. For instances, everything on celestial would start use trueheal once when you've got it near death, nil would entangle/damage constantly, etc.

Enemies of Serenwilde will be driven insane in its Ethereal territory.
Discretionary powers can be freely used on the ethereal plane
I assume it says the same thing for glom's new one.
I really hope they don't effect all of ethereal, or in the least that seren's doesn't effect the etherglom and glom's doesn't effect the etherwilde. That would be severely messed up, as I shouldn’t go insane standing at my own Nexus.

No, you won't. Question is, if it only works on the room at the nexus or whole of EtherSeren.

It says 'in its' so from that it would be, in its Ethereal territory. Example: Ellindeltree effects Serenwilde.

Hrm, then this construct looks nicer for cities then communes, some of the commune benefits are redundant.

Well Niente is an (well we know what he is), just as he is when he plays Amaru, he cannot fight for crap without Malicia, so he is really not of any concern, especially one on one. He loses most every one on one battle he has, and he complains as Amaru if he doesn't have his crutch to fight aka The Handmaiden. So really, he is of very little concern as a single identity, since he has none, but when he does group with Team Pin Leg, it is a bit of a pain and annoying.

Are both of you insane? First, to shadow-NIENTE and I raided earlier but we didn't stay for hours and hours. As numerous Magnagorans can attest-Malarious, Aiakon, Xanon and others-we raided for fighting. We took small groups and asked for Magnagorans to fight us in similar number or skilled groups.
We didn't raid to kill a bunch of novices, we find fun in fighting-and that's what we do.
And Ildaudid, I have absolutely no doubt that Niente or Amaru could kill you without problem with or without malicia or the handmaiden. You died on numerous occasions when you tried defending, so why try and make it look like your so much better on the forums?

FYI the insanity rate is "roughly equivalent" to Astral. This was intended to prevent sieges and camping nexii, and it's too slow to have much of an impact on the usual raidskirmishes.
The primary point of the constructs was to allow transportation and also to give defenders a bonus on home turf.
