What does deepwound healing scale with, if anything?

Sipping scales to maximum health, as does every other healing skill I know of. But does apply health scale up as well?

As far as I can tell, deep wounds healing is a fixed amount and not based on max health or any other individual factors. There are modifiers that can increase the amount you heal, but they're based on abilities, equipment, etc, and not race, level, or anything like that.

Interesting. That's what my anecdotal testing said, but I wasn't sure it held true all the way up the circles. I had been wondering whether that meant that a pure precision/speed weapon was indicated against the very toughest targets, given that it can take quite a bit of damage to force high circles to sip. I'm still not sure whether basically conceding them the application turns out to be worth it - out-wounding a health application through plate doesn't look to be easy. Still, it would be a nice converse of the trope that straight warrior damage is the way to go against those low in circles.

Well, low-levels shouldn't try PvP anyway. They can't handle not only being hit by warriors, but more or less by everyone.

That being said, deepwounds are not dependant on max health, as it takes the same number of deep wounds to reach a wound level for every character. Same for healing them - it's not based on max health, and not even (unless it was changed in the last 4 months or so) on HP regain bonus/penalty from one's race. Also, most defenses that reduce physical damage do NOT affect deepwounds, only the armour you wear does.
