The Pool of Stars.
This location is flooded with shallow, crystal clear water. The bright sun
shines down, blanketing you with its life-giving warmth. Meeting in the radiant
heart of New Celest, the broad city streets come together in a large, open plaza
of marbled stone. Rising in the centre of the plaza is a structure of noble and
luminescent pillars which suspend a round, ring-shaped platform twenty feet
above the light-studded surface of the pool below. The atmosphere within the
structure and around the pool bristles with a warm, electrical energy, giving a
slightly disorienting sense of dizziness and euphoria. A gradually ascending
stairway winds its way about the inside of the pillars, leading towards the
upper level of the structure and offering a bird's eye view of the pool. An
enormously wide circular pool, as dark as the night sky, glitters softly between
the columns. His form suffused with soft light, the Keeper of the Pool of Stars
stands here attentively. The resplendent figure of an archangel rises up from
the ground, her golden wings furled protectively over a small figure cradled in
her arms. There are 5 golden retrievers here. A statue of a cavalier of the
Light stands here, memorializing his noble spirit. An obsidian eye sigil is
here. There are 3 humble donkeys here. There are 5 cavaliers of the Light here.
Floating just above the ground, an archon of Eternal Light radiates power.
Crackling with blue lightning, the Handmaiden of Shakiniel hovers in the air
here. Aqua Initiate Roland is here.
You see exits leading north, northeast, east, southeast, south, southwest, west,
northwest, and up (open door).

Strange glyphs and sigils are sporadically scrawled upon the page, but you find
yourself able to understand them.
You read what is written on the Pool of Stars:
Though we are not now that strength which in old days moved earth and
heaven, that which we are, we are; one equal temper of heroic hearts
made weak by time and fate but strong in will to strive, to seek, to
find and not to yield.

Lord Alfred

Tennyson!

Anyone care to add the quotes at the other Nexuses?

Did Magnagora get Milton?

ETA: @diamondais Celest is clearly overpowered. Add more poetry to the other organizations!

I think the Pool is the only one with writing on it.

Clearly they do not like the British.

It wasn't the slightest bit OOC. Absolutely to the contrary.

Hallen doesn't often mention it, but his first name is Arthur.

But that's been there since forever! And there's writing on the pictures of the pool as well, so there. Put it back. mad.gif
