An artifact that allows you to use the Improved ability from the Illusions skill but with some added restrictions.
You would get to do coloured room emotes but you would have to be at full health, mana and ego to create any illusion with the artifact. Also making it so the illusions only consumed half as much mana would be good.
Worthless for combat, great for roleplay.

Also, an artifact sketchbook that allows you to store sketches indefinitely. You would only be able to store a small number of sketches (maybe ten) but you would only need one sketch to create figurines, statues, etc. There likely ought to be some restrictions on how often you can change the sketches you've stored too.
Edit - Damn the lack of post grouping.

I know I've posted too much but I had one last idea for now that I just thought about.
An artifact axe that lets you chop down trees regardless of their size or age with one chop, similar to mulching.

Here's one...
An artifact that converts ALL your damage from a weapon into wounds.
So instead of my pissant 200 damage swings, that 200 damage gets added onto wounding.
Or better yet give us a weapon artifact that has a 10% chance on hit to reduce healing done by all abilities by 50% for 15 seconds

Mmmmm corrosive venom... I like. Only bit I don't like is it'd be another warrior artifact that everyone would have to aspire to, unless it could be attached to any weapon (i.e. staff, symbol, etc)
Hows about an artifact that allows more power to be drawn from an astral node.
Or one that reduces the power paid to a construct (by the individual, case in point being moonchilde aura, lich, angel aura, etc) to gain it's special effect.

also, i would love to be able to buy artifact runes that buffed 1 stat.
for instance instead of +5 to all stats, how about +15 to one stat?

I favor precision weapons as much as the next warrior, and I love combat with wounding, but when I see a suggestion like this...
Time to rebalance warrior damage.
Forging max precision or near max precision weapons with wounding runes should be more than enough to get the wounding desired. And this is basically a proposal to drop tempering caps on damage.

Far too much. 3-6 swings (or double-swings) with health, regeneration, scroll, and sparklebery halved?
I'd like the individual stat weapon runes, but I'm not sure that they'd be worth it to IRE to make.
Ideas...
A rune attachable to weapons, staves, cudgels, etc. that makes the weapon vampiric? Probably hard to balance.
Let warriors attach the shield rune to weapons?
The clipboard of Gwylifar?
Perhaps some non-warrior specific runes, since warriors have an embarassment of runes available - and they are restricted to individual weapons, worse luck.
A flaming sword for Guardians - Angel/Demon has a chance to afflict bleeding/aflame on tick? Something similar for wicca, though the RP isn't as clear. Perhaps a puck, a prankish fae that has a chance to provide a false affliction message on a tick?
Mages... already have the runes of esoteric authority and great demesne. I don't see clear ideas for either mages or druids, but I do not have one. Ideas?
Bards... are the skillsets settled in and balanced enough to start adding in bard-specific artifacts yet?
This last change is one I'd rather see in conjunction with skillset tweaks, but here it is...
A war saddle - make it much harder to dismount someone. Of course, riding would need some tweaks to make this useful.

I had an idea similar to this but my idea was just for the saddle to make it impossible for denizens to dismount you.

A cheapish artifact that lets you study one new language, and works like dagger of reincarnation.
Instead of the Bookbinder artifact giving you infinite magicink, I propose that it cuts down on gold outlay instead.

An artifact mask that allows you to enter a room without people knowing who you are. People will see;
A masked Loboshigaru enters from the north.
when LOOKed
People will see
A masked loboshigaru
No aggressive acts can be taken from behind the mask. If you try it will fall off.

How about giving us:
A nice cheap 50cr artifact that allows us to add 20 more people to enemies/allies list?
Bashing damage modifier runes for bashing weapons.
An artifact that lets us see in Sandstorms and Blizzards, since trans environment does neither
A rune that gives yesod to you pet (aka bloodhound/retriever/wolf/angel/demon or a pet you actually buy, not to those crazy ents of the communes ) until they attack when in attack mode they can be seen, bo go back to yesod when passive
A fortuna brooch - that you can rub 1 time a day and get a random weighted stat buff
and last but not least, a mage nerfing surcoat, that absorbs all damage inflicted by mages 15% of the time (just not telepathic afflictions) cuz fair is fair right?

An artifact for magic based classes that changes 1/3 of the damage of their major attack to specific elemental damage. Just like the warrior runes do for weapons.

Um.. don't fae and angel / demons have that already? Called faecloak, demon / angel cloak? So maybe a skill rather than an artifact for that one..

Please can we have suggestions which don't effectively nerf the warrior class further.
That is all.

How does that nerf warriors? I'm not suggesting they do more damage, just partly a different type. Whether that hurts you more or less depends on your resistances and race.
And I'd just like some ways to specialize your damage attack as non-warrior a bit. The only artifact there is right now is a +dmg rune, whereas warriors have a whole sortiment to choose from.

An artifact to influence the undead? I know it was mentioned before.

1. You can only measure the 'goodness' or 'badness' of a skillset relatively. If you buff one, then you simultaneously nerf the other.
Without wishing to sound too much like Ildaudid, I am guild-tri-transed and I have 1000+ credits in runes on my main sword. But I'm still owned by a Shadowdancer, I still have a great deal of difficulty against guardians, and I do considerably less damage than Forren.
2. Warriors have good blunt/cutting resistance. And a little bit of magic resistance.. and not much more.
You're suggesting a rune which will convert magic based attacks to elemental ones - thus increasing damage done knights, and particularly hurting trackers.
Ok. So my arguments basically suck.

Don't they always, old chap.
Hmm, I'd like an artie that makes a weapon undecayable without looking at the statcap(<.<). Yess, we had that, and it was shot down, but I want it. Alternatively, somehow revamp the runes, generally. Some of those damage-runes could cost a bit less, in turn raise the price on some others. And maybe add a +2 or +1 statrune, just so you can make a weapon undecayable. (Like my bashing hamms.)
