I went and installed Mushclient as Nexus was running incredibly slow on my computer. Then I opened up the 'Launch new world' box and typed in the IP address and port. I wasn't sure what to put for 'Proxy address' as I don't use a proxy.
However, when you open Nexus, you just type in your username and password, and you're set. I couldn't find a spot to type my username in the window, so I just went ahead with it anyway. An error message came up and said 'An error occurred when connecting to Lusternia, port 23, etc." How do I log in??
Sorry for being a newb.

MUSHclient doesn't have a way to auto-login per default. If you want something like that you'll need to code it yourself.
However. Try recreating a new world from scratch, only fill in world name (for quick access), set TCP/IP adress to lusternia.com and you should be set. Hit OK and then connect.

Thanks, I'll try that.

Actually, there -is- an auto-login option.
At the status bar, select Game, then select Connecting.
Enter your character's name in 'Name:'
Enter password in 'Password:'
Select MXP (automatically when requested) for 'Connect:'
In the'Connect Text. (Send after connected):' box, enter
%name%
%password%
And there you go. Autologin.

Only when you use autologin, it'll sometimes come up with an "This version is unsupported" error, or at least it does on the IRE MUDs.

Really? I use autologin for every single one of my alts in Lusternia and it works everytime.
