I haven't seen many threads about pin leg and I have some unanswered questions about it in general. Mainly how to deal with pin-leg? I hear that shielding and parring left leg, but is that it? Just looking for some helpful tips on how to defend against it. Aside from pin leg, I can handle anything else a warrior can dish out at me and my reflexes like to SPAM to nil when I get hit by pin-leg.

Parrying your left leg will definitely help, and should allow you to heal your deep wounds in your legs better, particularly in the right leg. Your reflexes should know that you're impaled and not spam you to Nil. Impalement is a pain (no pun intended) because you can be impaled in different ways, but they all count as the same type of affliction and you have to writhe from all of them (unless they withdraw/rend, obviously). That's my big gripe against PinLeg: I was once pinned in my TWO legs by FOUR or more blades. Ouch!

Only good in groups, and personally I'd rather have something like kneecap to break stances... BM beheads are quite difficult.

okay maybe it's just my reflexes then. Thanks for the info, ill defiantly be parring left leg in the near future against warriors.

There's a little known (or little discussed) thing about leg/arm healing...

Can't you just apply to skin and hit the most damaged area?

No, it's random if you apply it like that. Tried it the other day. Had 2 wounds on my right arm, and 247 wounds on my head, apply health cured the arm. I also noticed a long time ago apply to arms or legs doesn't heal the most wounded limb either.

Meh. Prolly that's one of the reasons my old system tended to get me killed against warriors.

It's a warrior tactic. You always heal the left arm/leg first if it's damaged, even if your left arm/leg only has 1 wound and the right has 10,000 wounds. Hit their left leg a little, but whale on the right, and they'll have a harder time getting up again.
