-With the lessons we have now, most of it is best put into guild skills to get far enough for certain abilities. I would like to see an extra 30 lessons (or whatever up to turret) for newbies just so we can have them select that without worrying about "where all the lessons need to really be." When I go on hunts, WE NEED PEOPLE AT TURRETS - this will really encourage us to bring newbies along with us, since we can never seem to find the elusive "third gunner"! Cahur got a good 26% in one trip, and we all had fun. Though he's not exactly a novice.
-Couches and desks in aetherspace....we could use better landmarks, although those are not intentional, I get a good idea where we are when I see that flash by and I'm too busy healing the other modules to do SHIP LOOK. And by good idea, I mean more specific than the "blah blah" is to the southwest.
-Right now we have modules for turrets to increase balance and fire power, but none for accuracy (unless this has more to do with range). I would like to see artifacts for firing accuracy, otherwise. (I would definitely buy them! *nudge*)
-It's friggin' annoying and not enjoyable when a gnome ship decides to prance around when you're trying to buy and sell. A new ability to keep the ship from moving, GRID TRADE INVITE (Name of Gnome Ship), just to keep the ship from moving.
-HEALING MODULES. Why. The. Exact. Number? I think the repair would be easier for those not so trigger/alias/programmed inclined to just have it heal COMMAND (for command chair), instead of 45645473. Not a big problem for our older players or those familiar with this kind of stuff, but for younger ones who may be hoping rides on various ships till they get their own or not familiar with muds quite yet, they won't be so frantically creating aliases for each number of a module to be healed.
-You shouldn't have to be locked in the cloaking module to keep it up, considering most times you can't afford to leave a person there. And it seems only the owner of the manse can activate this? Ildaudid and others tried it but it didn't work for them. That's really inconvient for ships loaned out to crews while the owner is gone.

All good points.
The cloaking device isn't worth bothering with though.

CONFIG SHIPSIGHT ON|OFF
When off, you will no longer notice your ship moving through the aetherways- regardless if you are linked to the ship's aether or not.
(When you're linked to the aether, locked or unlocked into a module, you see EVERYTHING when you move- big wilderness map, etc. When you're not locked and not in the aether, you still get spammed with 'The Spammy Ship flies to the somewhere'.)
Edit: No, seriously. If you could turn this off, someone may (not) host aether cruises or summat. Lounging on aslaran-skin couches while sipping wine and viewing the local, bloodthirsty aetherbeasts. Paradise.

I agree with this, as it stands right now, the cloaking arti has to have someone locked in it to operate. And not just any someone, it has to have the owner of the manse locked in it to turn it on and off. That is not a good thing, since sometimes the owner isn't on the mission, also wasting a person to just sit at it to keep it on is bad.
I think the cloaking module should be controlled by the pilot, just with cloak on cloak off when locked into the module, and any pilot with perms to the module, not solely the owner.
Also, JinsunJolt..... this skill has potential, but does not hit ships at prime docks. I can understand that, except the nexus worlds are all considered prime docks.
With the amount of battles these nexus worlds see every weakening, I think that jinsunjolt should work at all nexus world docks. This will enable people to actually involve more aethership battles during these nexus world weakenings. Since most the times you will even get a chance to have an aetherbattle will be during these weakenings, it would be a good thing. Let jinsunjolt hit the ships on nexus world docks.
Imagine Magnagora goes to raid Pool Nexus World, they dock.... Forren brings his ship to his nexus world and has people jinsunjolt the ship to break it free of the dock. Now, that means when it breaks free, there will be a nice time to actually use aether combat. So people who are in the raid, will keep a small crew on the ship so if it does break free, a fun aetherbattle will ensue. This gives Lusternians a great time to actually use these new aetherskills. Because how often do you see ship to ship fights?

From my usage of the cloaking module, you don't have to remain locked in it only shuts down when you dock, it does waver and reactivate constantly though but does this when you are locked in too, it would however be nice if others could use it besides the ship owner. (unless this changed since last week)

false, we have succesfully removed ships from the megalith dock with jinsunjolt, but it seems to only affect ships with people onboard.
as for the rest, there are some fair points, I would especially like an aethersight off thing that makes you totally oblvious to movement of the ship, the targeting of modules on the other hand would become difficult when healing with multiple turrets/collectors/aetherholds, I suggest you just take the time before you leave to tell the new ones to make aliases cure
The moving ships, like moving denizens when influencing is annoying, but not at all hard to deal with
Anisu2007-04-21 07:58:27
on a related note, I would like to see a change to the aether whistle that allows us to specify the ship we call. I know I'm probably the only one with 2 ships but it would be entirely preferble to not be calling my second ship to the dock when people onboard are hunting the aetherwaves.
something like
blow whistle

Ok, I have to test it at a nexus world dock then, I was told it was considered prime space, and that it would not work in prime space. I never had another pilot with a ship who could sit in and test. But if it does work, great!!

That would be funny, you have a crew hunting frostica, and you need a ship.... your whistle leaves them stranded on frostica Yea I think whistles should have the option of A: blow whistle + all ships coming back and B: what you said with blow whistle (ship) for just one ship

Let there be some aethership events such as:
1. Prtect a gnome merchant aethership
2. Racing
3. Capture the flag
4. Or better yet, Aethership Wargames/FreeForAll

Actually, Rhosyn owns three.
