Hello again happy.gif

I've finally earned enough lessons to master totems and need some help deciding whether to specialize in Night or Crow. If you have experience with either skill I would be interested in what you like each group. If you don't (ie: you're on the receiving end) I would be interested in well.... what you don't like about it biggrin.gif

About me: I'm a level 55 mugwump Axelord in the Ebonguard and am primarily interested in earning gold via questing and bashing. (Still have a reincarnate if mugwump is going to be a problem) I earn 5 credits/day IC and will buy <= 300 credits OOC. I have learned up to strength in athletics, slicethigh in knighthood, and master in totems. More details can be found below.

Click to see skill list for Crow and Night

Crow looks more fun, interesting and versatile but the upkeep seems to be fairly high in that many of the abilities cost power and you need to maintain some carrion for your nest. Night appears to be great for bashing but many of the abilities may be impractical because frankly I will be hard-pressed to find even 3 coven members awake within the Ebonguard.

Hope to see your comments!

Edit: I messed up on the thread description, again! I think this is starting to become a habit....

night gives you very nice defensive buffs. take that. drink is great, garb is great magic and poison damage reduction the magic damage reduction should be equal to moon's aura ability. if so it's 300 all the times I've tested it. if you manage to trans night you can actually bash with nightkiss. leeches a small amount of health too.

Yeah if you just want to focus on bashing for now I'd say night too. Nightkiss gives you an alternative attack for bashing (and as mugwump you could do so fast too since nightkiss uses equi) and it gives more damage reduction overall (Just like drawdown, and that is awesome). Drink too is nice.

As for coven members, anyone who has the night specialization can join in. This includes Shadowdancers. Maybe that helps a bit? Finding three at least shouldn't be too hard. wink.gif

I will give Night a try then. Thanks

Night is great for bashing with nightkiss, which gives you a big damage resistance and some bonuses to your weapon stats.
Crow gives you darkrebirth, which basically makes you immune to exp loss on prime.
