Thoros points at you and shoves a hideous archdemon towards you. Wicked steel implements appear in his claws as he jumps on you, then begins to carve deeply and slowly into your flesh. You scream and convulse in abject agony during this obscene
torture.

Thoros raises a palm which glows with a tiny pinpoint of light. The light turns into a sparkling current of energy that slams into you, dissolving your flesh.

bleeding?
Revan2007-05-07 13:52:10
Bleeding was about 200, which is pretty negligible.
Unknown2007-05-07 13:57:52
Yeah, torture sucks, since its got double equ time as cosmicfire, costs 3p and your opponent needs to be prone.
Aiakon2007-05-07 14:34:49
It's not great, is it.

Is torture affected by int?

Perhaps it would make more sense for low int races.

It would still cost 3 power. tongue.gif

And that first sentence was deep, man.

Torture sucks.

Thoros' cosmicfire seems to do a LOT more damage than I ever remember taking from it though. People always say that cf sucks, but from that it doesn't look too bad at all. It looks almost half of Revan's health in a single attack...imagine that with quickening and whored aeon, along with demon afflictions, and a damage kill doesn't sound all that difficult.
Malarious2007-05-07 17:30:21
Remember that was with OMEN which was boosting the damage. Omen is also curable, so this combo doesnt work on top tier all that well if they dont want it to.
Daganev2007-05-07 17:35:08
Whats torture vs cosmic fire without omen? Maybe omen doesn't affect torture?
Malarious2007-05-07 17:37:58
Syntax: DARKCHANT OMEN
Power: 2 (Megalith of Doom)
From the dark books of Baalphegar, you can cast a foul omen upon an
unlucky soul. While under such an omen, that person will find -any- damage
against him or her will be increased.

I know what omen is. I know how its -supposed- to work, but test it, maybe it doesn't work on torture, or maybe it amplifies it differently.

You sure Thoros wasn't stacking Omen AND Sensitivity? I know Kaervas hit like a beast when he stacked the two.

It was cosmicfire with omen sensitivity bleeding and torture with omen sensitivity bleeding.
Ildaudid2007-05-07 23:04:20
Ok well that explains why cosmic hit so hard in the first place.
Krellan2007-05-07 23:33:26
i wish moonburst was even close to being as good, and i've got the strongest moonburst around (with Aesyra potentially able to get a stronger one) But for the most part my burst is stronger and the strongest and yet it's so pitiful at times I want to cry sad.gif
